For the price, well worth it. It even looks a little bit like one of the high tech video doorbells, so it may fool some of the porch pirates. Yes, setting the tone to what you want is tedious, because they only cycle forwards through the 52 choices. But once you do that it is pretty much maintenance free. I don't yet know how long the battery in the button will last.

Good item works and performs very well. I would have given 5 stars but the finish on them was scuffed up due to the way it was packaged, no protection on the face of them so they rubbed and made the surface you see dull and scratched from vibrating during shipping. Otherwise they look and perform great, would purchase them again. Lastly the ring tones were fun to play and choose the one we wanted.

The doorbell speakers are battery operated and can be placed anywhere (bookshelves) etc. This is a good feature for those that don't want to have to use electrical outlets. Even though there are 52 sounds, most of them are useless as they just don't feel like what you would want for a door chime - more like a mobile phone ringtone.

We are sad that we have to get a different doorbell system, as this really is a good doorbell for the price, and the second receiver was great for out by the pool since we didn't have to plug it in. Unfortunately, We have a lot of tree frogs in our yard that liked to jump on the doorbell button and song changer on the pool receiver, so we would get random doorbell rings or song changes in the middle of the night from the tree frogs. If you have tree frogs, this is not the doorbell for you. If you do not have tree frogs, I would recommend this doorbell.

52 tunes but literally have no way to set it to the one you like. If the button get accidentally pushed on the receiver in the house you have to go back through 52 tunes to get it back!! The volume button is on on side and tune on the other so it's very easy to skip to next tune instead of changing volume. Sound is not best either. Just pick a different one and maybe you'll have better luck!!

I was quite delighted with the doorbell. The sound was perfect, it was easy to install, they did exactly what I wanted them to do. My house is so big a single unit is just not enough. I bought 2 sets and used all 4 of the units, they work great.

I like that I can take the indoor piece with me to different rooms or out to the garage and still know if someone is at the door. The doorbell button could look a little more like a traditional doorbell, I think some people do not realize the device is a doorbell.

Great Product and Service

I have tried a few wireless doorbells, and this is the best I've found. The bell itself is sensitive to the touch and the melodies are varied and pleasant. The sound is loud enough that it can be heard throughout the house. All in all, everything you could ask for in a wireless doorbell!
