Looks like a designer bag to the untrained eye. I wanted a summer tote and this style is perfect. I get many compliments on it. Large enough for many things but not too large to make it seem like luggage.

Wish I could give 5 stars but had an issue with the clutch. The strap becomes unclipped too easily. Otherwise, the set is cute and useful. The tote is not heavy which was surprising. I like the fact that both items have inner pockets. I will purchase other designs from this brand.

For years and years, I have been a purse minimalist. This bag has seduced me away from carrying a teeny tiny purse that contains only my wallet, cellphone, and keys into carrying a large shoulder bag. I just returned from a three-week vacation using this bag, and I found it so handy. While the fact that the bag included a small clutch wasn't a major factor in my purchase decision, I also very much liked having a clutch with a wrist strap. Both bag and clutch included a zippered pocket plus two side slot pockets that I found very handy for keeping things organized. The zippered pockets were big enough to securely stash my passport. The slot pockets were a good size for slipping in a pair of sunglasses and a pair of readers. The slot pockets were also a handy place to slip in a tube of lipstick, sunscreen, and my lens cap when not on my camera. The shoulder bag has some serious room. I was able to fit the small clutch, a 5x8-inch zippered makeup bag, a 5x8-inch zippered bag with my "technology tidbits" (cellphone, battery charger, USB cord, extra batteries), a 5x8-inch zippered bag with medications and first aid items, a 35mm camera with a telephoto lens, a light sweater, folding umbrella, water bottle, and my Rick Steves' guide to Italy. To stay organized with such a large handbag, I do recommend having some additional zippered bags so that you don't wind up with a jumble of junk in the bottom of the bag. If you aren't using a bunch of zippered bags, you can fit a change of clothes in the handbag, making it a great overnight bag. (I was able to leave one of my zippered bags behind at a friend's apartment and pack clothes for an overnight trip to Venice during my trip.) Originally, I had purchased a different purse for my trip that I decided against taking because I felt the closure wasn't sufficiently secure to protect me against pickpockets. The zippered closure made me feel very secure with this bag, especially since I could turn the zip pull to the front and keep an eye on it. I also thought the bag was easy to carry despite also wearing a large daypack backpack. I loved the look of the bag. I thought the quality looked posh, jaunty and fun. (I wasn't put off by it not being leather because I was looking for a non-leather product.) The stripes don't match up but they seem to be intentionally offset, and looked fine to me. I am very happy with this product.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I'm greatly pleased with this bag. It's more than roomy and really seems well made. It is larger than I anticipated too, which is a bonus in this case. However, it isn't soft sided and don't crunch up well, if that is what you were looking for. The matching wallet is cute. Great purchase for the price.
