Do what they are designed to do and easily crimp clamps. You can over tension if you don't watch what you are doing. Crushed a pencil for fun and experimentation. Much easier to use than the non-compounding type.

these work good, they open enough to do a large CV joint boot clamp so money well spent.

The double hinge on this tool makes for easier use. I used on turbo charge pipes and it worked great. Looks just like a factory BMW clamp assembly.

ITRIED TO USE IT ON SFPEX CLAMPS FOR RADIANT HEAT TUBES IN OUR FLOOR. I JUST COULDN'T BEGIN THE GRIMP EVEN WITH BOTH HANDS AND PUSHING IT AGAINST THE FLOOR. I'M SURE IT WILL WORK WELL ON REGULAR OTIKER CLAMPS BUT NOT THE SFPEX CLAMPS. I WILL BE KEEPING THE TOOL. IT APPEARS TO BE WELL MADE.
