got rid of a thumping noise I had (noise could have been from the old sway bar links) and the ride is much better..
Purchased and installed in my 1998 Toyota Corolla on the rear, to replace a different brand I purchased and installed about 3 years ago. My old "new" ones sagged as much as the ones that were previously on the car, which made me believe that was normal. However, not seeing any other issues with my suspension, I opted to try again to see if new struts/springs would help. What a difference. These lifted the rear of my car almost 3", got rid of a thumping noise I had (noise could have been from the old sway bar links) and the ride is much better... I will be buying a front set to match soon, as my current fronts are the same brand as the junk ones I just took off the rear, and the front has some clunking noise also and the front ride is bad.

A great buy with one little problem.
These struts were very easily installed on my 2000 Toyota Corolla. They replaced my completely collapsed rear struts and have been working great for the month I've had them installed now. No more bottoming out, and you cant beat the price. One problem though. The sway bar link connection points on the struts themselves do not match up between the sway bar links and sway bars. The link connector points on them are sitting 90 degrees off from where they were sitting on my original struts. Therefore, I cannot attach the links at all.I wish someone could give me an answer as to why they are like this. The struts have been working great, but to me the sway bar system should match up and work as they are supposed to, so I can only warrant 4 atars.

May be problem with linkages
Had a bad rear shock on 1997 Corolla, so I bought this set. Almost immediately started making a clunking noise. A friend installed them. Firestone said linkages were bad. Haven't had chance to have friend look at them to see if they're just loose or totally shot---even though it's only been 6 months. We will see.

Beware of the company
The company is NOT easy to work with for an exchange. The part didn’t fit and each time you replied to an email, they took days to get back to me.Ended up having to work with Amazon customer service to get the part refunded.

Low quality, very low quality
We drive the car I put them on very little, these failed in under 5000 miles. Expect to replace within a year or much less. Spend the money on a better brand

Have to remove brake lines to install on Corolla
Other than having to remove brake lines and bleed it was an easy install and they work great.
