The coolest camping gadget I have that I never use
Despite having burned my fingers twice on this thing (both times my fault), it's probably the coolest piece of gear I have. I'm not really sure who it's for. It's too heavy to take backpacking, and too inconvenient to use when car camping (what I do) compared to a propane stove. But I love it anyways cuz it's just really a cool device. And the stove / battery is good in an emergency especially if you don't have sun for solar. It's really a pain to use, you have to keep feeding the fire with correctly sized sticks and takes forever to boil but honestly kind of a fun activity doing all that trying not to burn yourself. Be careful when you take the lid off when there is boiling hot water in the pot, the steam will burn your fingers. Without an accessory like this pot, the stove is dicey to use for cooking / hot water because of the way the top is shaped. But then this pot is worthless on a propane stove because the way the bottom is shaped. So instead of saving space with all my other camping stuff, if I bring this I still need to bring a kettle for my propane stove. Wow, I really only have bad things to say but I'm still giving 5 stars that's how much a "cool factor" can affect your thinking I guess. It's well built / high quality I'll give it that.
