Being a newer bike kit from tamiya it has a higher piece count than old kits. Painting and decals are difficult and challenging just what a builder needs. Directions are easy to follow and illustrations are precise. Parts seem to fall into place when oriented correctly. Chemicals are needed to form fit decals. Patience is a must. A pleasure to build. I recommend not gluing airbox to ensure proper fuel tank fit. This will allow for wiggle room.

All parts were well molded with no flash on any parts and minimal parting lines. Most parts assembled really well except for the front brake disc covers which would not fit up at all and were ultimately left off the build (which is fine as there were only fitted at certain tracks) and the front engine mounts, which when installed were incompatible with the body work so we’re removed for final assembly. I did not use the masking for paint that came with the kit as it was easier just to use timeline tape due to the simplicity of the scheme. Decals worked well but most needed a standard amount of decal set to get them to lay flat. Overall an excellent kit with inconsequential problems.

would be nice if they shipped it in a box. Maybe not leave it in the rain too. Update: they left the first one in the rain. I returned it and re ordered it with amazons “discreet” packaging. They then sent a r1m. Why can’t I win?

2025年12月に購入しました。Amazonにて2500円前後。 【組み立て難度】 難しくない。ガンプラから毛が生えた程度。組むだけなら簡単かも。 ただし、ニッパ、カッター、接着剤、ピンセットは必要。配線関係が少し面倒。パーツが組み合わされて、形になるので、精度も重要。雑に組んでると最終的な形にならない。 【塗装】 難関。組み立てながら部分部分で塗装が必要。仕上がりをカッコよくするために、丁寧さが必要。 【デカール】 タイヤ向けの特殊なデカールや、カウル面でデカールを切る技術。曲面ばりなどなかなかテクニックと経験が必要。組みっては楽だったのに仕上げが難易度高い。
