Good product
I noticed 1 x review that queried the hose end, That gave me the clue that this was EXACTLY what I had been searching the internet for. When it arrived it was perfect and just what I had been searching for. The 1/2-inch male pipe thread is, as the other reviewer stated BSP. However the female 3/4-inch garden thread IS as stated, just not the UK version, it is in fact a "garden hose thread" but USA standard 3/4-inch "GHT" (garden hose thread), which as stated I had searched hours on the net for, and almost given up. It fitted perfectly on the flushing connection of my Yamaha 200 outboard motor. Very Happy.

Not a standard hose fit and base to be forced on.
Not a standard hose thread. The so called hose thread is not a good fit to a quick connect, it is an interference fit and base to be forced on. The 1/2 inch thread is a perfect fit.
