Perfect low-fuss dishwasher drain adapter
Worked perfectly on a 1.5” sink drain. I attached it above the slip joint piece for minimal fuss. The discharge outlet comes with a cap so you can install the adapter without having to coordinate dishwasher installation. The discharge gasket has a flap to help prevent back flow into the dishwasher drain hose. Pricey, but worth it for a no-headache installation. Much better and sturdier than the branched tailpipe slip joints.

Part not quite what was needed.
This may be partly my fault that it didn't fit exactly. The connection to my drain from the dishwasher needed to be replaced and thought this piece would remedy the situation since I couldn't find a replacement part at all the DIY stores. Was able to make it work with additional parts and a little ingenuity. Was disappointed that there weren't more selections on line. Amazon was the Only one that came close to what I needed so I gave it a try. Would've been better if it had a "J" trap. Got it working so thank you Amazon.

Great for RV dishwasher.
I have added a portable dishwasher to my RV and this was perfect. It doesn't require much clearance, so I still have full access to the small cabinet below.

Works as expected but very expensive!
It works as expected with no quality issues. But it is super expensive for what it is. Too bad I found this one afterwards -- does the same and more for half of the price > https://amzn.to/3PYnUg7

iNSTALLED THIS DISHWASHER DRAIN IN OUR RV.
Yep, installed this into our RV. I tried do this job the conventional way but this was space limited and I wasn't able to reach and modify other drain pipes to make that happen. this was my only other option. I have been using our Dishwasher consistantly every night and this drain is working great, trouble free.

Inlet nut snapped and broke
Installed and then tested. The inlet had a small leak so I went to tighten a bit more and the plastic nut snapped rendering the product useless. Poor quality, weak plastic for the price. Too bad because the design is what I need. Spent $20 more on higher quality replacement fittings.

If you have an Reverse Osmosis unit under your sink and it cloggs pipes this can solve it.
Our dishwasher originally drained into the garbage disposal. We have an RO unit under the sink too and it drained its waste water into the drain on the other sink. Over time this results in a smelly particulate and bacteria cheese like substance forming which slowly clogs the pipe. As part of the maintenance every filter change the drain plumbing had to be torn down and all the pipes cleaned out. This was purchased a few months back and installed above the drain for the RO unit. The idea being the hot soapy dishwasher water should flush the RO waste water away. This was checked the other day and the pipes are clean so the idea seems to be working.
