JebaoCWP-5000 Circulation Wave Pump with Magnetic Base, 132gph-1320gph

This pump is really good & cheap! Especially if your getting into the saltwater aquarium hobby! Have had mine for a while now & still works great! Although the dc controllable ones are better this one is great for mixing saltwater for my reef tanks. Would buy again!

The media could not be loaded.  I usually wait to post a review about the products, but I have to say that several people have told me about the quality build of Jabao and I did not listen! These wave pumps are strong and provide great flow! I can’t even hear them! Great product so far, hopefully they last. Even if they last a year at the price it’s a steal!

I didn't need a wavemaker and actually bought this for circulation in a 20 gal planted tank. I was replacing a Hydor 240 hoping to get a little more circulation.It has a ring adjustment where you can vary the output (as per the manual) from 132 - 1320 gph. I would say on the lowest setting it is probably closer to 500-600 gph. Unlike other Jebao pumps, this one plugs directly in the wall with no control box.Nice pump but way too powerful for what I needed.

I have one of these in my 30 gallon with my plecos. I am getting another one for the other side of the aquarium. I have this for a few months now and I am really liking it.My plecos need heated water. Temps can range from the mid to high 70sF to as much as 90+F. Mine seem to prefer warmer water (27-30 C/80-86 F) that is soft and slightly acidic.This tank is set at 86 F. The warmer the water, the less oxygenation that occurs. So I have my air filters going and the wave makers in the wake of them to blow the bubbles throughout the tank and not just straight up. That way I am sure it is pumping O2 all through the tank from top to bottom.One pump is enough but I want to get another for the other side. I notice they hang out on the side with the pump more so than the side without.I do have nylon over it so that debris and plecos don't enter it. I would hate for them to get hurt.I would recommend it to others.

Was amazing for the price when it worked but then it stopped working 3 months later

They work, but not suited for WaveMaker, every time they start there's an audible click followed by a hum. Doesn't stick well to thicker glass. The included instructions don't explain the flow adjustment, there's a small sleeve inside the housing, the further forward it is slid, the higher the flow

I have no idea why I found this technology at age 56.

Not the performance at all, only good for very small tanks. Magnet is weak and barely holds it on 8mm glass

De muy buen tamaño y mucha potencia.

Compared to the Fluval cp1 is far weaker and not worth the money. Oddly enough the larger capacity model from this brand is $6 less. Going to give it a try and send this one back.
