We use these around my husband's GJ-tube insertion site for absorption of drainage etc. They are great! The snaps hold well but are easy to open. The fabric is super soft and comfortable on the skin. (Way more comfortable than gauze!) I would recommend laundering these before use as they are much softer and absorbent after washing because they come in a vacuum sealed bag that really squishes them. I run them in my washing machine and then lay them on a flat surface to air dry. They dry very quickly, less than 2 hours. When I change them, I put the used ones in a container with water and a few drops of bleach to soak them before washing. That keeps them from getting too funky until I have enough of them to run a load of them.

These are great! So much better than the split gauze. My husband has a J dangler and the pad fits behind the button perfectly. They are really soft easy to snap. I have not washed them yet so I can’t attest to that but I think these are worth the money

These all hospitals should have a well. Prefect fit snap lock makes it stay in place where it needs to be, no shifting issuing pads. I still tagore the grip from the G-Tube to keep it in place and had helped the healing process and no more rashes from the 6 rubber grips from the G-tube disc. I may wash one too see if it can be reused, they are thick and sturdy. If I can will be a big money saver. But even so, I am willing to pay a bit more for my wife's comfort. Plus after 2 weeks with these, the healing is light years better. With the gauze or split patches it was not improving (healing) and you would be changing it 2-3× a day. Now, once a day after her shower and done. Less quirk fir me and piece of mind you can't put a price on.

These are very soft....i don't use them under the gtube becuz they are a too thick for my mom...i still use a split gauze under and put this on top to keep the gtube from having alot of movement around the stoma...u do have to work with the snap becuz it's secure....i would buy them again

Much better then gauze with slit. The snap holds well. The material is sturdy yet absorbent. Wash and reuse many times.

I have ordered these two seperate times a couple years apart. The first set was amazing! They worked so great. Lasted well over a year. Withheld the shape with handwashing and laying flat to dry. They fit my adult son's gtube perfect. Purchase 2, horrible. Something is different. I don't know if it's the material that is being used but from day 1, these felt thinner. They do not hold up. They will not stay on his gtube for nothing. The hole seems to stretch out for no reason. I only handwash these. Then I lay flat to dry. That's how you make these stay in perfect condition so they last. However, this isn’t the case now. I wouldn't recommend this product.
