The only lifestyle option
A brilliant book, though I would not have used the word 'diet' in the title. Diet these days is associated more with fat loss and this book is so much more than that. A Thermo Lifestyle is what Christopher Walker is promoting and fat loss is just one of its many benefits. The book goes into great detail concerning the science and biology that can lead to a full and healthy life. A full and comprehensive explanation of all the good minerals, salts, fats and foods our bodies need, without getting too scientific. More so, an explanation clearly set out on what we should be avoiding and why. All of this is fully set against peer review and myths are clearly debunked and put to rest, although some of them will be difficult to accept, so long have the 'theories' persisted. Bottom line is, get your hormones in balance, look after your thyroid and stomach flora and you are over halfway there. I am a gent of a certain age and discovered Christopher while doing research into how to make my prostate healthy again. The useless UK NHS service told me ''yes, you do have a swollen prostate and what we will do is monitor this and if necessary can provide chemo and other solutions / surgery''. Not a word about life style / diet. 3 years down the line following Thermo recommendations and I normally sleep for a good 5 to 6 hours before having to get up for a pee during the night, rather than every 2 hours! Throw in the HIIT running and some weights and I have the perfect ''Thermo life''. At the end of the book is a great list of what to eat and what not to eat. As I state above, this book's recommendations are brilliant. Thank you Christopher.

100+ pages of citations, not a diet, 20 yrs and this is the best "diet" book I have ever come across
Do yourself and the author of this book a favor and just buy the book.Revolutionary in it's simplicity, is NOT a diet, just shows you how the foods we are taught are healthy are actually detrimental, details the MONEY behind most traditional and modern ideas of nutrition, contains more references (by number only) than I have ever seen in a nutrition book - but doesn't eat up pages with them (you can look them up in the back and further your research.)I have never written a review for a nutrition manual, this however was so needed as more people need to be privy to this information

A must read to improve our food choices!
I appreciated most of what the author shared!!! Excellent and very helpful guide to our nutrition. There were a few things that I had to skip:1.A bit too much technical info for some of us.2. I had to eliminate the “F” words in a few places before sharing the book with my teenage grandkids and my children.I suggest some editing here. But, in general, I’m grateful for Mr. Walker’s advice and sincerity.
