Made from real wood . Seems sturdy
I thought the color I was getting was white, but it was actually really light unfinished wood. It actually worked out because I was able to stain it a color that matches my space better anyways. It is made of real wood and seems like it will hold up, though the steps might need some reinforcements for a heavier cat. Also, I thought it had carpet like other cat products usually have, but its just a VERY thin felt . Over all it will serve its purpose and it gives me the opportunity to get crafty and customize it to suite my space.

bought a 2nd one a year later
I like the look of these. My cats were fighting over the first one, so I bought a second one a year later. same color. quality is the same. only complaint is the drywall anchors for the 2nd one. they are different and not as well made as the first set. I had some on hand and used those instead. We have an old (1800s) house and hanging anything is difficult. attaching to at least one stud is advised.Assembly is a little weird on the steps but with a long enough screwdriver you'll be fine. Price is good and they are stable and have held up well. I did add a blanket to each self for more comfort. Ursula is smaller 7year old 9lb female and Newt is 2yr old 13lb male, both seem to fit fine.

Think of it as parts that need additions.
I buy things like this when I don't have the time to build from scratch. They are smooth, painted, and pretty. But I never see such things as "ready to use." So. 1. The idea of screwing these things into drywall, not into studs, and then having cats climb on them is laughable. I cut and painted 2 pieces of 1x6 long enough to be screwed into two studs each, on each wall in the corner. Then I screwed the platform into those pieces of wood. Works fine. 2. The steps: I used only one side of the holes and screwed them into studs. They are sturdy enough; I think the people who say they "droop" did not put them into studs. Then, the steps are too small, and being in studs 16" on center, are too far apart at that tiny size, for the cats to want to use them. We have some very athletic cats, and one is only 5 lbs, and even she, our gymnast, refuses to use these steps. So I will sand and paint some small pieces of 1x6 and screw them on top of these steps to make bigger platforms. 3. Yeah, the screws are too small and thin. The tiny ones for screwing brackets into the steps are fine. For the others, I used the packet's "large" screws where medium were called for and used my own longer and thicker screws to mount everything. Tip: cheap sticky stair tread carpet strips work well for cat platforms. This product is still worth the price, because making that platform, buying brackets and all for the steps, and so forth, would have taken half a day. So, I'd give this 2.5 stars.

Size
Shelves are a bit small. But they are very strong. If you have a large cat I'd recommend a larger shelf.

Cheap Product
I just opened this and this is how it came. The prongs that hold the ledge in place were broken, cracked and not secured. Several of the prongs had broke inside the peg holes as well so there was no way of putting them back in. Some of the pre-drilled holes to secure the wall brackets to the cat ledge had split the wood as well making it completely unusable to securely install. The box it was shipped in was undamaged so this was definitely manufactured this way. I'm 100% returning this. Don't waste your time its a cheap product. 1 star reviews across the board for this.

Pawsitively Amazing!
This is my first day of installation so I'm reviewing based off the products quality not my cats use. Firstly, obsessed with paw shape. Beautiful! Second, the brackets underneath the paws were a must and we went ahead and wood glued the paws to the base to be extra sturdy. It was very easy to install! I also love the size it's perfect for my largest cat. I did have to removed the fluffy bed from the largest railed shelf but I'm appreciate having an extra fluffy bed for them to lay in. I felt I got Alot for my money and I am very satisfied with the visual aesthetics and my cats ability to escape from the dogs when they happen to startle them. I would buy more! Thank you for making a high quality product with large enough surfaces for my cats to perch and lay. I had no issues with my plaster walls.

Poor quality but workable.
Very cheep quality. It looks ok but the build quality and hardware is bottom tier and the design of how it mounts does not support a sturdy fixture to the wall. The main landing is sturdy enough but could use some reinforcement for larger cats and the steps are pretty flimsy only being supported by the two small screws they provide. It is a usable product but you need to replace all the hardware they sent with better stuff (the hardware on the right is what they sent and on the left is what I used.) replacing that made a huge difference. If you have a large cat it still may require brackets to reinforce it. Also the railing on the main platform was very loose when I got it and I was able to pull it off with almost no effort and I had re-glue it back in place. The long and short of it is you need to be able to diy a little to make it worth anything and if you have the tools you could probably make a better version pretty easily.
