No they don’t. You can use any of the colors.

Is it the same size as the original? Does any case protector work on it?

The exterior is a little different since it doesn't have the wireless charging components.

I still have the case. Can't remember when I bought it. Still holds a charge not sure how long. Hope that answers your question.
