Great, great socks
I've been wearing the Wigwam Ironman Thunder Pro Low-Cut socks for tennis for the past couple of years and I will no longer wear anything else. Regular athletic socks are fine for the gym, biking and short runs but for the pounding my feet endure during a tennis match, nothing beats these socks. Since I began wearing the Wigwam Ironman Thunder Pro I no longer get blisters. They are cushioned in the critical places and thinner where cushioning is not required. They are also made to last. I have 4 pairs, all worn and washed weekly, for the past couple of years and they are still look like new. They shrink a little when washed but stretch to fit once on. I sound excessively exuberant for just a pair of socks but I think that they are just that good.01/12/14 Update: It has been 1-1/2 years since my initial review of the Wigwam Ironman Thunder Pro Low-Cut socks and I still swear by them. I am still wearing the same socks I purchased over 3 years ago and have no holes or serious signs of wear. Admittedly, they are getting a little thin but still have some life left. A great sock.

Fabulous unexpected surprise
I stumbled on these sport socks by accident and my husband is so grateful I did. His feet have given him trouble for years but he loves being active so always looking for shoes that are comfortable and still look great, but never thought that a sock could make so much difference. His feet get hot very easily, hot enough that he starts to feel claustrophobic, so he can only wear the thick socks outdoors in the winter, but he enjoys the extra padding when he can wear them. When I saw the reviews for the Wigwam I thought they had to be worth trying out. Aching feet equal absolute misery and can take all the enjoyment out of any experience, so the price was no deterrent. If they helped to reduce discomfort and enabled my husband to stay involved in activities that are good for his health, they'd be well worth it. And they have done exactly that. My husband put them on to go do some work in the yard and wasn't outside 10 minutes when he came back in to tell me they were incredible. It has been much hotter than usual and horribly muggy, so no better day to test them out. They passed with flying colors. He kept them on until he was ready to come inside several hours later and even though it might be hard to imagine someone being terribly excited about a pair of socks, he was ecstatic. His feet didn't get blazing hot nor did they start aching so unbearably that he was forced to get off them like he's had to do so often. He said they are as comfortable a sock as he's ever worn. The next day his feet were still in good shape. Too bad they don't make dress socks. Looks like our son will be getting the other sports socks I just purchased. I'll update if there are any problems after washing.

Good sock for novice/occasional runner...
I bought this sock for my husband who likes to do an occasional run (about 4 miles a week). He didn't want anything too pricey, but I wanted him to get out of his ancient Hanes, so I chose these socks. He says that they fit true to size (he's a 14!) and are light and moisture-wicking. He believes they could use a bit more padding in heel and ball of foot but, overall, he regards it as a good product for the money. Would purchase them again in the future.

Great fit!
I am a female and wear a size 7 1/2 shoe - I ordered the Medium and they fit perfectly. These are the socks I wear with my tennis shoes for daily walking. Although they are a bit pricey, they wash and wear well without shrinking. I have had my other pairs for over a year and they look and feel as good as the new ones. These are worth the money!

Great for walking
These socks actually exceeded my expectations and I already had high ones for WigWam. For roughly the size of ordinary no-show socks, these feel fluffier on the inside and provide significantly more cushion. I bought these for when I go for long exercise walks where ordinary no-shows would sometimes rub wrong. No issue so far with these. Just comfortable.

Stretch to fit? I don't think so.
I wear a size 14 shoe, and bought the largest size sock (which supposedly fits up to size 15). When new, the socks were about ⅔ the length of my foot, and so stretching them to fit uncomfortably squeezed my toes. After washing, the socks were only slightly bigger than half a foot length, and very very uncomfortable when stretched on my foot. Not wearable (and not cheap). Reminds me of those socks and gloves that claim "one size fits all." Ha!

Great socks
I am not biased just because Wigwam socks are made in my sate. They are made right here in the USA in Wisconsin. In fact I didn't even know they existed here. I found the socks first, and then found out they are made here.I like these socks and buy them because they durable. They hold up well and I like the way they fit. I bought a pack of another brand of socks from Target and they fell a part right away. I now pay a little more for these as in the long run I am better off as they last so much longer.

Avoid - Wears out extremely quickly.
Fits great, feels great, but after only 2 wash cycles and 3 wearings (light everyday wearing, no sports activities) the fabric where the toe part meets the top is already wearing out (fabric thinning is visible to the naked eye). Disappointed in the extremely short lifespan of what I consider a premium sock brand.
