The iOgrapher products have been out in the market for awhile. I have used them since 2018 when I first got to see them in action at the NAB / BEA conference in Las Vegas. Their premise was simple and they made it intentionally uncomplicated: Provide anyone a great and secure way to shoot videos using your iPhones or iPads. I’ve seen them in action in film schools and sporting events. I’ve seen Steven Spielberg use one in the set of a Tom Hanks movie he was directing.The iOgrapher Multi Pro has come a long way from the first generation of the iOgrapher iPad cases. The most impressive feature is how they managed to future proof the design as it “grows” and adapts to whatever size your Air and Pros are. Because the cameras on the iPads keep changing position or quantity, this case specifically found a design to accommodate that by not positioning the camera area to a cutout in the case. Instead they let the area be unobscured making it ready for any change Apple makes in the future. Genius!From a money making aspect this doesn’t make sense because as a consumer I wouldn’t need to keep buying a new case every time a new ipad model comes out. This just shows me that this company isn’t all about making money and really listens to customer feedback.Other outstanding features:• The ipad is safely secured so I don’t ever have to worry about it falling out of the case.• Ease of adjusting the size because of the spring loaded locking mechanism.• The two hand operation using the signature style of iOgrapher cases let’s you easily and comfortably keep your elbows close to your body for a more stable shot.• You can mount your iOgrapher case on a tripod in landscape or portrait using a tripod screw port in two places. I would never shoot vertical videos, but you can if you want to. Lol.• There are four horseshoe ports that you could attach mics like Apogee or video light like Lume Cubes. The iPad charging port is also accessible.Bottom line, this is already the best case rig I’ve ever seen and used—and I only had it for two days! The value for what I paid for ($129) is a steal for the quality of the materials and the ease of operation. This is really the only iPad video rig case I will ever need. It might seem small or silly, but this thing is a big win for anyone who does any kind of recording with group fitness!When you’re navigating recording around an area, an iPad is a must have to get a good understanding of what you’re actually videoing. Group fitness stages can be large and anyone using a phone screen to record is guessing at best. This thing is sturdy enough to hold an iPad and lets you set up the perfect shot. Since it’s all standard plug and play stuff, if you have any tripod that’s not weird and proprietary, hook this sucker up and use her to all her glory.We all were recording and sharing workouts during COVID and realized the power of sharing these videos with those who couldn’t get to the gym. But so many people were recording by having someone hold it OR were recording and controlling music and playlists off the same device. That’s a recipe for technological disaster! This guy lets me set up a perfect shot and still have my phone to control everything. Actual perfection. I’m telling everyone how to get the best videos is as simple as this little guy!So if you record yourself teaching, sharing out content, or anything in the like, BUY HER!

The media could not be loaded. I was in the market for a video rig to record family events and church services. A friend of mine who shoots video for a living recommended the iographer brand.I was hesitant at first to go get it right away because I wasn’t sure that I’m going to upgrade my old iPad Pro with an 11” or the 12.9”. I was pleasantly surprised that the iOgrapher Multi Pro adjusts to the size of the iPads!!!The ipad is secured so I don’t ever have to worry about it falling out of the case. Locking the iPad is made easy by adjusting the spring loaded locking mechanism.I posted a video on using the iographer Multi Pro using my two hands to capture the footage from a party with a famous YouTuber Ronil Merto from Meal Official NOW channel.I’m also adding a photo where I mounted my iOgrapher case on a tripod to take great photos of family and friends.I especially liked the ports that you could attach accessories like my fill-in light cube.Overall, this is a great accessory for videography on your iPad Air and iPad Pro. It helps you stabilize your footage by utilizing both your hands while filming. Made in the USA, looks and feel that they used high quality materials. I would definitely recommend this along with a tripod.

Warning!If using an iPad Pro 13", the cold shoe obstructs the front camera, rendering it useless for selfie videos.I must return it due to this.

Well made...

I preferred when I got a case for the older ipad case because it specifically fit that model and had a lens screw spot instead of needing to clip a lens on which blocks your screen tapping ability in the corner and you have to unclip/adjust your lens every time you bump it or travel. Also because it is to fit mutliple models, it has large adjustable sides and the top gets in the view of the camera if you do selfie mode. Also, getting to the port is much more difficult if you have a rigid cord and cannot be accessed if you use a USB transfer. I would much rather buy model specific cases every time than one that can be used for several models because it doesn't work as well for what I need. For the price, I would think they would have had more insight on these potential issues.
