This sealer works quickly and efficiently. It is very easy to understand how to use it for various types of food. The size of the bags included allows for different amounts of food to be sealed. The cutter works cleanly, and the system is space saving. I have really appreciated the ease of use and the fact that I am saving money by using this sealer.

I was contemplating whether to buy a well known brand name on lesser known product and decided on the lesser known. It was a good decision as i saved over a $100 dollars and this works just fine. I have been using it often for close to 2 years now and have no problems with it. It pulls a good vacuum and seals good.

One of the best purchases I have ever made! This very reasonably priced sealer is efficient and very easy to use, Simply slide the bag in and press either the wet or dry button depending on what you are saving and your package is quickly vacuum sealed. You can use not only the bags that come with it, but with just about any other vacuum bag, I bought an inexpensive roll that allows you to cut whatever size bag you want. As you can see in my pictures, I was even able to seal El Monterey breakfast wraps in the freezer bag I purchased them in and it worked great! I highly recommend this product.

I had never used a vacuum sealer before so I was a little unsure of how they work. I did some research and found this one and thought I would try it because it was automatic. The first thing I tried it on was a half bag of Sauerkraut. I did not fold the Sauerkraut bag over itself enough and when I tried to vacuum it, it sucked a lot of the Sauerkraut juice into the machine. I thought to myself, nice, you used it once and destroyed it. Fortunately there is a small reservoir inside the machine that caught the liquid. I wiped the vacuum bag dry and squeezed some liquid from the Sauerkraut bag then folded the Sauerkraut bag over itself multiple times. This time it worked perfectly. Since then I have used the machine to vacuum numerous steaks steaks and coffee beans. The machine is easy to use and when sealing a bag there is no need to press on the cover to hold the top down, like you have to do with many machines. It's all done automatically. I also like the way you can manually control the amount of vacuum you want to use. I have to say, I am very impressed how it works, and I hope it lasts a long time. The only down side was the instructions. They were not well written but then again the machine is easy enough to figure out.

Last Update - Two months later and in the trash it goes. It will only seal one bag before needing a rest. I just ordered a new one from Costco. Update - Lowered to 2 stars because the first time I used it, it worked great for a big batch of veggies. I did 12-15 individual packs. The next time, it stopped working around 6 packs and I finally figured out that it overheated and needed a rest. Then it worked again. Now it needs a rest after every 3 bags or less. I'd return it if I still had the box. Original - I'm on a new diet and have a lot of veggies to weigh out. I wanted to do it in bulk, so I bought this product. I read the directions and watched a video, but it's really self explanatory. It has made my meal prep SO much easier. The vacuum is strong and the bag has sealed correctly every time so far. The only downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that the cover over the lights is so dark that it's hard to see which one to press (they light up from under the cover). It's okay once you learn where they are, but I'm dumbfounded as to how this passed performance testing before it was mass produced and sold. Baffling.

Tape job on the box leads me to believe it was possibly returned and resold. Supposed to come with 10 bags according to the box. None were inside have to wait till I buy some to see if the machine works.

Product performed very well, after figuring out that you just insert the bag to be sealed and you do not to open or close the lid. Dissapointed that the free 10 vacuum bags were not included as shown on the box! I would have rated higher if the bags were included.
