I’m a rodeo photographer(so lots of dirt and rocks flying….) This is my first ever lens filter and I will be looking forward to buying this brand again!Easy to place on lens, heavy duty feeling, it also comes in its own little case that doesn’t feel cheap, and I don’t have to worry about scratching my lens! I use a canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens and it fits perfect with my lens hood in case anybody is wondering!I had a rock or huge clump of dirt come back and hit my lens the other day and I am SO glad I had this filter on!

I bought a Tiffen UV Protector filter primarily to protect the lens of an older Lumix DMC-FZ18 I picked up for birding (I tend to stumble about a bit and didn't want to risk my best camera(s) on spec trips). As usual, the filter fit perfectly, appears crystal clear and has absolutely no blurring or other negative effects upon the images I get. I know there are more expensive UV filters, but for my needs Tiffen has always worked great at a very reasonable price.

The filter shipped fast and was just as noted. The only drawback was someone had put a fingerprint on the glass. It was no problems cleaning it off but had it set there longed it could have etched itself in the coating.

Tiffen have been making filters for a long time. Had just bought a new camera/lens (after 6 removable-lens bodies and about 20 lenses (after 3 film bodies and 8 lenses before that)) and all have had a filter in front to protect the front element. A lot of them have been Tiffen filters, as it's a name to trust. Optically clean and built tight to resist dust intrusion.

Até achei o produto bom no começo, mas depois de três meses de uso , e uso a câmera esporadicamente o vidro se soltou no aro, ao movimentar fica fazendo barulho, só estou esperando o vidro cair de uma vez por todas! Não bsei se aconteceu com mais alguém, mas depois disso não recomendo esse produto!

Attaches to the Lens adaptor T01, either the Olympus or JJC version. Keeps the camera lens clean and has a nice photo color UV filter. shipped promptly. :-)
