Really easy to use, if you follow the directions.
This high-quality cling film is really, really easy to use if you follow the directions. I got it to cover some smoked glass doors on cabinets because I don't want the contents to show and to pretty them up. Once applied, the panes were still dark, of course, so I used the backing on the other side of the glass to lighten it up - looks great, lots of compliments. I got better at working with it after each pane. Be aware that on this design the overall color is darker than the picture in the description! the gray is fairly gray and the bamboo is reddish to orangey. Perfect for me, but you need to know that it is darker & richer, even on a clear window. (I tested it) But it does have a great stained glass effect on clear windows too. Here are some tips:1) Take your time! Measure carefully. Then hold up the pieces to the window or whatever before removing the backing so you can trim if necessary. They do stretch a teeny tiny bit while squeegeing, so leave the space the directions recommend!!! I actually cut a template first and fit it to each door separately. Then I carefully traced around and cut.2) Use a straightedge if you cut with a knife! Scissors work, but the result is more wavy (at least for me).3) Clean with Windex and make sure there is no lint left. When I was totally ready to apply the film, I removed the film from the backing so it wouldn't get wet. If the backing gets wet, it's much harder to peel off. Only then did I spray the glass lightly with soapy water and use my hand to spread it all over. This avoided dripping and made the application of the film much easier (I figured this out after pane nr. 3 :-) That's why I removed the backing before soaping.4) You can slide it a little bit at first. Squeegee from the middle outward. The bubbles dissapear like magic! If it's gone on wrong, just peel off the film, re-soap and reapply. I could see where a bigger squeegee might work better on a large window. If you have one, try it. But for my smaller panes, the enclosed squeege was perfect.5)I had some fiddly bits where the hinges were. It did not work for me to trim with a knife against the glass. It was easier to remove, trim and reapply.6) Plan enough time for your project. Go slow. Your patience will pay off, I promise. I am very happy with the result and would buy Artscape cling film again. Yes, I highly recommend this brand and this design.

Simple and easy to apply, Totally transformed my kitchen!
I always get lots of comments from my guests about these! I live in an apartment and I have this covering my full-sized kitchen window. They really do just peel off easily with a fingertip, but remain stuck to my window unless you mess with them. For installation, I did find a small squeegee handy, but the small tool that they send with the window film works just fine. Cutting and getting them on the window does take a little time, but it dramatically transforms the appearance of the entire room! I was able to install them by myself with no trouble and they look fantastic! The orange is vibrant against the gray background and it looks fantastic when the street lights come on in the parking lot.The gray is opaque enough that I feel comfortable without a curtain. I was worried about my privacy so I had a friend move around in the kitchen while I stood outside. There is a bit of a shadow if you lean directly against the window, but that's it. Its really like having a stained glass window and it looks terrific when backlit! Instead of a parking lot view, I get this gorgeous and colorful design with lots of natural light! I highly recommend this!

GOOD PRODUCT
I have bought two other window film products from this company several years ago and wanted to update the look of my bathroom with the bamboo film. Keep in mind that the pattern goes up and down so if you are very particular about and want a horizontal pattern application consider another pattern and the dimensions. Also the color is darker than the image displayed. I have a light blue cloud and the white washed ones from the past. I prefer the lighter colors because it makes the rooms look or feel bigger and brighter than the bamboo film. I like the product because it keeps out the heat on the east side of my house/bathroom windows that gets a ton of sun in the summer and I live in a neighborhood where the houses are so close together and I can see inside their house so I think they can see in my bedroom/bathroom clear windows without the film especially when the light are on inside my house at night. I had the light blue cloud one in my bathroom for at least 4 years and I removed it easily and placed it in my bedroom window (I recycled it) and am happy to have been able to reuse it with good use. I like the film also because it is not so cluttered looking like drapes would be and it cleans very nice and does let in light unlike drapes. You can very easily remove it and reapply for cleaning or removal.

Finally privacy again!
I purchased this because our house is at the end of cul-de-sac and we have a lot of windows facing the street. I liked the design because it seemed to fit into our hallway color- and style-wise while many other films had too many green and blue tones.Initially we ordered a couple of rolls to attach to the small windows around the front door. Installation is fairly easy and every roll comes with a small but very handy squeegee. Everything went well although I cut the pieces ever so slightly too small. It appears the film shrinks a bit when drying so don't be too quick to cut to size after installation if you have any overhangs! I then realized that I can get away with one roll and we decided to use this motif for the upper hallway windows as well. We ordered another roll because the one wasn't enough. I was a bit nervous because I've read in reviews about some films that showed a batch-to-batch variation in color so that they'd never perfectly match. This was not the case and I manged to make it look like one piece!I have to admit that the film is somewhat darker than one might expect but if light shines through it gives very pleasant light.

Drab and dull
Very easy to apply if you follow the instructions regarding liberal spraying of the window. Unfortunately the picture is not representative of the actual colour of the item, the bamboo is drab brown not the light bright yellow portrayedand the background is not light but a drab grey. Wish I had returned as it doesn't obscure what is I inside either. Expensive mistake.

Looks great
The film arrived promptly and well packaged in two boxes a box inside a box. Instructions and tools for 'debubbling' were included. As per very basic instructions - I cleaned the window applied water and debubbled the film one cut to size. I think it looks pretty good
