We think that the YsChois Bug Zapper Racket works best as a portable, stationary bug light zapper, not as a bug zapper racket that you swing. There are some bug zappers that have thin handles that are easy to grasp and easy to swing at biting insects - this bug zapper racket is not one of them.Where the YsChois racket excels, is in putting the bug zapper's light on so it stays on with the zapper racket energized (the bug zapper has a built-in ultraviolet "bug attracting" light), and then spreading the legs built into the handle, and placing the bug light on its spread feet in a location where biting or annoying bugs are present, making it a portable, stationary bug light, and it works quite well in this capacity. Bugs are attracted to the ultraviolet light and the energized zapper racket gives them a jolt they won't forget.Now, it is true that the YsChois can be used as a swatting bug zapper, but the handle is a bit too thick and the "on" button to energize the zapper is located a little too high on the handle making it somewhat awkward to hold and easily swing. If there is a dire need, this bug zapper can perform both types of service (stationary and swinging) but considering that this is not an inexpensive "throw-away" bug zapper it will last much longer if not swung around hitting insects and potentially accidentally hitting furniture or some other solid object. Perhaps the preferred way to use the bug zapper when swinging at bugs is to leave the switch in ultraviolet mode so the racket is always powered on and then you don't have to hold down the "on" button on the handle while you swing the zapper at insects. By not having to hold the power button down you can hold the bug zapper much lower on its handle making it far easier to maneuver and swing.This bug zapper has a rechargeable battery that lasts many hours when used as a stationary bug light zapper with the ultraviolet light on constantly attracting bugs. The ultraviolet light on the portable bug zapper is not as bright as those seen on a standard electric bug zapper that plugs into an electrical outlet, but when there is dim ambient light in the evening or at night it puts out enough of a glow to attract insects to its energized bug zapping racket. Turning the bug zapper on and placing it nearby where people are being bothered by biting insects is a good way to keep the biting insects under control.A bug zapper like this would work well also when camping or during other outdoor activities, as long as you had a way to regularly recharge the battery.

I finally had to replace my old tennis racket type bug zapper, as it only works when it wants to after about 7 years of constant use. I love this new one!!! Not only is it rechargeable, but it has a triple switch that allows you to turn it off, on with the temporary button control, or on all the time with the four ultra-violet lights to attract bugs. It also has 3 legs that fold out so you can set it on a table, and turn it on all the time, and let it be a stand alone bug zapper!!! It is very well made, and stands on the legs very sturdily. I purchased the 2 pack, so I have a spare!!! Each comes with it's own USB charging cable, and a little brush that you can remove fried bug parts with!!! It holds a charge very well, and I have been using it for a week now off and on, and it has only been charged once!!! I highly recommend this very versatile hand held, or stand alone bug zapper!!!! It fries those pesky little critters, and sends them to bug heaven (if there is such a thing) Lol. You can't go wrong with this zapper!!!!!

Ordered this on June 16th, 2023 and it only turned on until July 1st. During this time it didn’t kill one bug. I contacted the seller and they offered me several resolution options immediately to my satisfaction. I would purchase from them again.

First, pretty good design & its solidly built. You pay a bit more than many other versions out there but it is well worth it! The bat is quite effective in zapping critters big & small. I am not a big fan of the supplied fly lure container, hooking it to the net directly and also remembering to remove it before you use it for swatting, yet the concept is good in theory may be worth evolving in the next model revisions esp., with a magnetic attachment etc.Note to Amazon: Please attach user manuals (PDFs) to items so even if they get discontinued the users have access to the docs later. I have attached the manuals to my review for ref & use by other buyers later.

- Extremely cheap/weak plastic hinges on the tripod that you have to manually pry open by hand. I figured it would be some kind of spring action. Nope....You have to pry open each of the 3 tripod legs independently. But, the plastic hinges are so cheap/weak they feel like they'll break within a short period of time if using the tripod function often.- Doesn't have Type-C USB charge port. Instead, it's micro-USB.- It comes with a little plastic tray that can be attached to the zapper to hold bait such as a bannana peel or scent wafer to attract flies. But the tray is so poorly constructed that it wont stay shut. It easily pops open, falling apart in the hand. It also doesnt secure to the bug zapper in a way that it can stay put. It just barely hangs in place using gravity. So each time you want to use the bait trap you would have to go find it, put bait in it, hope it stays shut and then carefully place it on the zapper hoping a gust of wind doesnt knock it open. As soon as you grab the zapper it falls off.- The posting advertises this device has some sort of additional frequency harmonics that attracts bugs. This seems to be a lie. No such thing exists.I'd like to see future models with a robust spring action tripod, Type-C charging, bigger battery, and possibly more voltage. Also, a bait trap that lives on the zapper indefinitely without falling apart.

I had grain moths and got tired of clapping them to death. This also works incredibly well on mosquitoes. That's where it's the most satisfying. It's hard to explain the intense, mechanical, pleasure you get when you hit a mosquito, or two, with it.

The set works very well and very effective more so than my old electric swatter and including two different electric zap lamps i’ve purchase recently. It was so good i purchased another 2 piece set as a gift but only one of the two works. My set was fine but disappointed that the gift didn't turn out so well.

I did ordered this product as a recommendation by a friend will use it for mosquitoes season and outdoor Flys.

Trabaja muy bien. Cumple con su objetivo. El material no es apto para recibir muchos golpes pero si es resistente y trabaja bien sobre todo en interiores.

Es muy efectivo, atrae muy bien a los mosquitos.
