AMAZING field of view
I got two of these to cover an area in front of our home, and they let us see the entire space end-to-end perfectly. The camera has an incredible 150° field of view and can stream video in 1080p at ~30FPS max. The overall image size is 1920x1080 (not super-awesome but definitely not bad). The camera and the mount are all metal construction, no plastic pieces, and it's very compact- the camera "ball" itself is only 70mm (2.7") in diameter . Since this will be outside and directly exposed to the elements, I added some silicone rubber sealer around where the wiring goes into the camera just to make sure there's no leakage into the camera. As mentioned above, two of these cameras will give you approximately 300° of coverage, and there's hardly any 'fisheye' distortion. (Maybe they're de-warping the image in the camera? I don't know.) Also, the night vision is surprisingly good; I expected it to be poor based on other reviews but it's crisp and clear, no complaints at all.The built-in web-based interface has a good selection of clearly marked tabs with all the settings you need. It works with PoE or with a separate 12vdc adapter (not included). The camera works perfectly with Blue Iris. Just point Blue Iris at the correct IP, and select "Foscam" for the Make and "FI86xx/98xx compatible" for the Model. The Main Stream path is:/livestream/11?action=play&media=video_audio_dataThe camera has only one significant drawback in my opinion, and that is that there's no slot for an SD card so there's no local storage or recording in the camera itself. For my use that's not a fatal flaw, but it may be for some people. If they added an SD card slot to this thing it would be just about perfect. All in all, I think this is a great little camera for the price; it's loaded with features, has a great picture, and a crazy-wide field of view. Highly recommended.

160 degree FOV Wide Angle!
I needed an IP cam that offered more than the typical 80-90 degree field of view. This camera fits the bill. I mounted it on the side of my garage and it sees close to 160 degrees. If you are like me and only want to use 1 camera to see a wide area then this camera is it.

Returned failed camera - no reply
Camera failed after a few months & was asked by support to return it for "repair." I paid for return shipping & now I don't get a reply from Microseven. I guess I'll stick with Amcrest.

So far great, no complaints
I was looking for an IP camera with a reasonable configuration/setup. I quickly found the DHCP query in the server log, updated static DHCP, rebooted the camera and logged into the web interface. None of the web interfaces are great (or consistent) on IP cameras but I figured it out. It's being used in the garage and streaming RSTP to zone minder. Zone minder plays nice with this camera. Just ordered a second camera to replace another foscam, this time outdoors. I like the wide angle. POE works well also.

Stable performance, but under-tested and buggy firmware.
Stable performance, but under-tested and buggy firmware. If all the intended features actually worked, this would be a 5-star product.Tech support is earnest, but clumsy.Documentation is amateurish.

No decent mounting brackets
I bought both the dome and the bullet style camera. The cameras are okay but Microseven doesn't offer any mounting solutions as far as I can find. The mounting pattern on the dome camera is 2.75 inches square (two opposing corners). The mount Amazon is showing does not fit this pattern. The Ethernet connector on these requires a 1 and 1/8 inch hole if you plan on hiding the 2 ft cables attached to these things. I devised a solution for the mounting the cameras but it required some uncommon tools to construct.

Great picture, easy setup
I have gone thru several brands of security cameras over the years, CCTV with DVR, IP, POE, Indoor, outdoor, etc.. I always looks for cameras, which are "open source", meaning ones I can set the IP addresses and ports, and where I can use third party apps and programs, such as Blue Iris. I hate having to search thru the item descriptions, only to have to ask the question if the camera is open sourced or not. Most of the time the response I get is that I would have to use only the respective app for a particular camera, yada yada.. Cutting to the chase, every Microseven camera I have purchased (6 in all) have been open sourced and are flawlessly accessible via Blue Iris software as well as the third party Android app I use. Unlike Amcrest, there is no limit as to how many cameras that can be added to the Microseven Cloud site. Amcrest boasts that their cameras work with Alexa however, they don't tell you that only 1 camera can be added to their cloud site before they will charge a fee. Both Microseven and Amcrest cameras have to be added to their respective cloud sites for them to work with Alexa. Therefore, Microseven cameras not only provide a beautiful and crisp picture, they are extremely flexible in their setup and compatibility. I wish that all of the camera manufacturers would be as forthright as Microseven. I for one will not purchase another camera other than Microseven cameras!

great video output need to have pre-activate video buffer
The only complain is that the motion detection of this is way behind. It should have some 5 seconds pre-motion video like other cams (amazon, armcrest, ...). The quality of the video is great. Free 24-hour capture is also a plus. But again, it should update to give some 5 seconds video before what happen!
