UPDATE Sept 2017: So I've been using this brewer for several months now and it's still great! Last week I used it to brew 3 rounds of my fav Raspberry Limeade from Teavana loose leave mix and it worked to perfection and stored in the fridge for a week in the actual carafe. So happy with this purchase had to share an update!Original review:I love this brewer! I normally don't have time to write reviews but felt compelled to comment on how nice this infuser is! It's a large pitcher but what made me happy was the length of the filter/infuser. I'm a huge fan of fruit or lemon infused water, ice teas and drinks at parties and the one I bought from a local store didn't work because of the small leaky filter that left remnants in the jug but this one is good quality with a fine mesh. The free mixing spoon is also a nice bonus they included in the box. Definitely recommend this one because of its large size and good quality infuser. I'll be getting a second one for my mom next.

This thing is perfect. I am addicted to cold brew and had a similar model that was smaller and it ended up breaking after a couple of weeks ( the glass was very brittle). The manufacturer actually sends you an email with some recipes for different ways to use the product which I thought was pretty cool! I like how much coffee I can get out of a single brew in this where it lasts a couple of days.

Pros:- Storage Capacity: holds more coffee than other cold brewers I have owned which means I have to make the coffee less frequently.- Easy to Wash: I can fit my hand in the "mouth" of the container which allows me to wash to product with easeCons:When the filter is removed the lid does not securely fit on the base. The rubber gripper is fixed to the filter - not the lid. This is a major nuisance and an unfortunate design flaw.

Even though I was a little nervous, I was so thrilled with this brewer when I used it for the first time - the coffee tasted great!! The glass is incredibly thin and I was incredibly nervous to bump it on anything. However, the first brew went great and my husband and I were both incredibly pleased... On our second brewing attempt, it was in the fridge for about 8 hours when my husband moved the pitcher. It bumped into another bottle in the fridge and a big hole cracked open in the side... It made a huge mess in our kitchen and now we don’t have any cold brew for tomorrow morning! I’m incredibly bummed, cause I thought this was a winner...

I only owned this for a short period of time until it shattered while I was washing it. The size was nice and design worked relatively well. But the glass is simply too thin and cheap. I’ll be buying another, but from a different brand. You get what you pay for.

This is awesome. I love it so much. I do love coffee in many forms. I have even roasted my own coffee beans. I have used a French press, an aeropress, a ceramic pour-over, a drip maker, and they are all fine, but they all are behind this Cold Brew Master in producing a full flavored, clean tasting, great coffee experience. I followed the instructions included in the box. I let my grounds sit and chill for about 18 hours. The result was amazing. The micro filter did not allow any grounds into the coffee, so no sludge like with a French press. I added a little sweet creamer in my cup to the chilled coffee. Yum! My problem will be to limit myself to a reasonable amount of caffeine for the day as I want to have another and another. My son has a different type of cold brew maker. It takes up counter space and refrigerator space, and the screen does not filter the grounds as well. This is the way to go!

Great cold brew maker! The company is wonderful. Before I received the coffee maker I received an email with a recipe pdf booklet. After the maker arrived, Newport Cove send another email making sure that the coffee maker arrived safely and inquired how I liked it. =:-) The coffee maker looks large in the photo, but is streamline- does not take up much room in the frig. The instructions of how to make the cold brew are easy to follow; the filter that holds the coffee grounds is very fine- so they (the grounds) do not leak into the coffee. There is also a nice barista spoon included if you want to mix a tall drink. You can also use this to make cold-brew tea. Great product design and value- to make coffee and tea drinks at home.

Makes good cold brew. DO NOT put the metal pieces in the dishwasher. My husband put the spoon in and it rusted. The center grate is a little hard to clean, but I don't think it can really be easy to clean and effective at the same time.
