Very Nice! Pro-tip: Remove Step 2 Film First
Supershieldz consistently makes great products, so when I saw they made an anti-glare protector for the 2DSXL, I had to have it. I was not disappointed. These protectors are perfectly cut, seemingly very durable (quite thick), and do an amazing job at diffusing the glare so I'm not making awkward eye contact with myself every time the top screen goes black.Just some helpful protips for installation, based on my experience installing dozens of these things on various devices - A dust free environment is critical. I accomplish this by dusting my work area, then running a humidifier and air purifier in my room, near the work area, for an hour or two before I begin. Then, after thoroughly cleaning my screens with alcohol and microfiber cloths, I spray down the actual screen protectors (with the films still on them, of course) to remove any clinging lint or dust from the films. I also spray my hands down with alcohol and wipe them down thoroughly with a microfiber cloth as well. Then I begin.Installation is best done under a bright desktop lamp so you can spot those pesky tiny dust flecks sticking up on the surface of the screen.Peel the Step 2 film first! I know it is contrary to the instructions, but sometimes, you can line the protector up just right, press it into place, have a flawless, dust free install, and then when you peel the step 2 film off, the whole protector comes with it, and those seemingly sentient little dust particles will dash onto the screen before you can get the protector back down. It's best just to remove the Step 2 film first so you don't have to worry about fighting with it later. And lastly, since you're dealing with a large and precisely cut screen protector, alignment is critical. My method is to peel the Step 1 film down just a little, lengthwise. With the longest edge of the protector exposed, you can press it down into the edge of the screen bezel first, ensuring a nice flush contact with the longest edge of the screen, which will allow for a perfect alignment as you slowly lower the rest of the protector down onto the screen, peeling the Step 1 film as you go. Hope that makes sense.I highly recommend these screen protectors, they look and feel great, and it's a 3 pack! so there's some room for mistakes! While you're shopping, I also recommend picking up a pack of microfiber cloths. The pack only comes with one, and the way they cut them, they can leave behind lint particles on the screen.

Not clear
I hate to give a bad review but this protector does the 1 thing you DON'T want a screen protector to do and that's take away the quality and clarity of your game screen's image. This protector is NOT clear and will ruin the visual quality of your system while using it. Imagine smearing a thin layer of skim milk over your eyeballs, that's about the quality you get using this. If you want clear I suggest buying glass, this product is a type of plastic. To its defense it DOES fit PERFECTLY on the top screen to the point where I had to use a razor blade to pry it off with the dexterity of a brain surgeon as to not scratch my actual ds screen. If you don't mind 240p and only care about not scratching your screen this product is for you.

Good with one tiny flaw.
Overall, the product works as it should. It protects the screen well, and is easy enough to apply. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to get rid of any air bubbles after application. I know this is a problem with all screen protectors, but the included tool to remove them in this kit bent in half after removing one bubble. If you purchase this product, use a credit card to remove the bubbles, it will make your life much easier.

Easy to Install! Love the anti-glare finish!!!
I have purchased Supershieldz for several other electronic products and have never had issues, so I purchased this set for my wife's new 3DS XL. I am not disappointed! Each package comes with 3 protectors for the top screen and 3 protectors for the bottom touch screen of the 2DS XL. To be honest, I like the idea of multiple protectors because I was afraid I would screw up at least once. However, it was so easy to install, that I now have "extras" for any future protector issues. Some things to be pucky about...1. Take your time!!!2. Clean the entire 2DS XL thoroughly.3. Apply the protector from one side to the other slowly and if you see a dust spot, lift that portion and use Scotch Tape to remove that particle.4. Remove any air bubbles and then use the cleaning cloth to thoroughly rub the protector onto the device.Easy!!!! I did the above for my wife's 2DS XL in 5-7 minutes. It was worth it! There is not even 1 dust speck on either screen!!Note: Unless you use scissors to custom cut the top screen protector, this top protector will NOT fit on neither the 3DS XL or the New 3DS XL.The bottom protector CAN, indeed, be used on either the 3DS XL or the New 3DS XL.This product cannot be used on the old 2DS.PIC NOTE:Left to Right: New 3DS XL, 2DS XL, 3DS XL (old version). The old 3DS does NOT have the Anti-Glare bottom screen protector from this package installed.

Wouldn’t recommend
I Burned thru all three of these trying to get the top screen protector lined up with no air bubbles. As others have stated, the bottom screen protector is easily applied... no air bubbles first try. But the top screen protectors are a nightmare. The reason is simple... they cut the screen protector TOO close to the exact size of the screen. If u lay your first edge down even one micron at an angle...when you lay the rest of the screen down, it will leave a corner with air bubbles because it does not line up exactly with the lip of the screen. It leaves a pocket of air there where the protector overlaps the edge. You have no room for error...you can peel the cover back and readjust, but it comes with the risk of adding dust in there each time you reapply the film. These ended up in the trash. If anyone has a better recommendation for screen protectors for the new 2ds xl, please leave a comment, I need good ones. Thank you
