Problem solved
Rodent problem solved. Much better quality than that of the local hardware stores. Easy to attach. Wear gloves when handling.

It is working.
There are so many who said the glue does not stick enough and it falls off. I think the reason is because the procedure says put in inside the side of the garage door at the bottom. If you do this when the door comes down it will catch on and hit the strip and strips it off. I install mine outside. No problem stripping. And then I painted it. Oh I have not caught a mouse in a week.

Overpriced not worth it
Not worth the money. Overpriced. 4 strips of aluminum with double sided tape. Worth 5 bucks not 15. Being returned. Save your money

Easy to install
This product was easy to install and seems to be working well. We had mice chew through the plastic weather stripping garage door seal and invade our garage and cause damage to some items stored. Once we got them all trapped/unalived it seems to keep them Out. I did have a slight challenge of getting the one strip to stay in place only because of how the mice had chewed the stripping.

Works as intended if you use it as intended
It is a good product for what it does. I had a rat chewing at the seal around my garage door. I used it to reinforce the seal after I replaced it and I haven’t had an issue since. It is a thin piece of flexible metal that stops the rats and mice chewing through the rubber weather seal. It is not a barrier device or an obstacle or anything else someone may be looking for. Your seal has to reach the ground and there can’t be any gaps that a mouse could crawl through. If there are, then this isn’t what you are looking for.

Good seal
Easy to apply. Kept seal of weather stripping tight and does not interfere with opening and shutting garage door. Too early to tell if it will keep mice from chewing through. I also purchased Xcluder Rodent control fabric fill and stuffed about 4 inches inside the end of my door bottom rubber seal with a bit hanging out each end. Mice also ate through the ends of my old one so hopefully the combination of the weather strippingmetal and fabric will deter them.

Great product! I tried stuffing steel wool into the little hole that the mice chewed in the weatherstripping. However, this didn't deter them. The weatherstrip shields were easy to install and work great.

Item returned as two very small flimsy bits of metal were not going to stop rodents entering my garage. Definitely not effective.

Worked perfectly. Make sure you wear gloves. One opened my finger up.

It's a basic fix. A strip of thin metal with an adhesive on one side. Not worth 40ish dollars. I applied it in cold weather and it stayed on three spots, but the fourth weather strip was sort of bent in and the garage door keep peeling the strip off. finally I applied a heavy duty epoxy adhesive and it stopped getting pulled off. Could have done the whole thing myself with some rodent proof strips and my epoxy adhesive.

What an absolutely terrible product. Do NOT waste your money!! These are smaller than the size of a standard ruler and are flimsy and paper thin. Seriously....heavy duty tin foil is higher quality than these "metal" strips. The adhesion is very poor and didn't stick even with a clean surface. Overall really disappointing product and at the price, a down right rip off.
