This was bought as the shaver I bought did not come with an adaptor. No philips shavers come with an adaptor. Is needed if traveling about with your shaver. Works in most European countries including the UK. Good value too.Looks good and easy to use. Well built and takes a wide variety of usb ports.

I bought this item to convert a standard two pin bathroom, shaver point to work on modern shavers and toothbrushes which are charged via a USB socket. The plug works well as expected, but it projects 64 mm from the socket, and care should to be taken not to accidentally knock it when in use. Otherwise this device is a useful item to convert existing bathroom sockets to modern devices.

It fits snuggly in my bag for use wherever a 2 pin plug is needed.I never have to worry about my mobile being without charge.

Perfect for using in Sicily to charge phone, without needing a separate UK/EU adapter plug. Easy. No brainer for travels to Southern Europe....

Makes life easier when travelling

The reason for buying this was to use with my new Phillips shaver which comes with a usb cable but no plug so I couldn’t charge it in our bathroom 2 pin shaver socket. For anybody that wants to use this for this purpose in the Uk, don’t bother as it does not fit a normal Uk 2 pin socket as the pins are too small. It can only be used for the EU size pins.I returned the item and received a refund as it is not fit for purpose for UK 2 pin shaver/toothbrush sockets.

Does the job, but gets hot after a while, wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving it plugged in overnight.
