My wife and I have 2 large dogs that like to wreak havoc all over our house. They rarely have accidents, but when they do it always seems to be on a rug. In the past we have purchased expensive rugs and over time learned this made absolutely no sense for us. A few months ago when we needed a new rug for the living room my wife came up with this one which looked nice enough and was very reasonably priced. We both had our doubts but bought this one and we haven’t been disappointed! - Quality of this rug is pretty good, especially considering the price. I expect this will last several years based one what I have seen so far. This rug is very short like carpet almost felt like which we were concerned with when we first saw it, but now that we have it we actually like this. It feels really nice to walk on. - Cleaning this rug is dead simple and doing so doesn’t damage it or change the appearance much if at all. This was an important one for us since we have 2 dogs. - Appearance is nice and looks good with the rest of our decor We would definitely buy this again if we ever need another rug.

It is close but not the exact color as the picture shows. However, I read enough reviews before I ordered it and knew it would be a little off. When it arrived, I was actually a lot more impressed with the color of it than I thought I would. It’s a great size, it is thin but very soft and matches my curtains great.

I honestly don’t write reviews much but I have to hype up this rug because it’s a steal. I was very close to ordering a Ruggable rug 3x the cost of this one and I’m so glad I didn’t. It’s extremely soft, stays in place perfectly without a rug pad, and cleans so easily! I’ve surface cleaned it with a wet cloth and I just tried it in my washing machine today. It washed & dried perfectly (I do have a larger machine, so maybe consider this). Any wrinkles after being in the dryer or when it comes out of the package smooth out within a few hours. The pattern is not my favorite but it’s neutral enough to blend in with any decor. And it’s not thick or plush but no machine-washable rug is going to be, so it doesn’t bother me! Perfect for our house with dogs and I’m sure even better if you have kids! Just buy it!

PROS: (1) As pictured: The rug looks exactly as pictured. I’m incredibly picky, and this is the first online rug purchase where I’m not thrown by the appearance after unboxing. There are no yellow or brown undertones to the cream color and no blue or purple undertones to the gray color. The cream is a true cream and the gray is more like a greige (gray beige) which is exactly what I wanted. It is perfectly neutral and could work with warm or cool toned walls/furniture. The light overall shade of the rug brightens up the room with just enough darker color in the pattern to add depth and dimension. (2) Stain resistance: We have a full house with kids and a dog, so I was concerned about stains and wear. Within 2 weeks of purchase we had a can of Dr. Pepper spew all over the rug, but didn’t soak in. It wiped off easily and didn’t leave a stain. (3) Softness: The rug texture is super soft. I’m a texture person so I truly appreciate how soft it is. This is not to say it is thick or plush, just oh so soft to touch. As far as other reviewers comparing it to a blanket instead of a rug, the texture has an almost velvet or fleece feel (but no pilling), it is not a carpet or typical rug texture at all. I like this, others may not. NEUTRAL: (1) Laying flat: It comes folded, which was actually super convenient, but I wasn’t sure if the folds and creases would ever come out. I even tried a steam mop on it to no avail. It took a full month but it does finally lay flat now. For the reviews saying it won’t lay flat, it will, you just have to be willing to wait a month with a wrinkly rug. (2) As other reviewers have noted, it is very thin. This is true of any washable rug, but unlike our old (much more expensive) Ruggable rug, the corners of this rug stay down and do lay flat. We ordered a quarter inch rug pad to go under it and that worked great for us. If you are looking for a thick heavy rug, you won’t like this one (or any other washable rug). CONS: Vacuuming: Our Dyson stick vac does not work on this rug (suction is too powerful). Our robot vac does go over this rug. I was worried it wouldn’t but we run it daily and have not a single issue with it going over the rug. However, the rug catches and holds dog hair better than a lint brush, so while the Dyson is too strong, the robot vac is too weak and the rug stays full of dog hair. I just ordered a manual rug sweeper and am hoping that works to clear the hair. (2) Pattern: While from a distance the rug looks awesome, up close the pattern appears to be just printed on. Let me try to explain - Because the rug is more of a velvet or fleece material, there aren’t individual carpet fibers to be individual colors. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but imagine a screen printed fleece blanket. This is probably typical of washable rugs, but it is more obvious on this rug than it was on our old Ruggable. Overall I am happy with our purchase.

So far this rug is perfect. Nice size, colors, very soft and so affordable. It laid down on its own with no creases. It stays in place with no problem. We shall see how easy it is to keep clean.

I also Purchased the Large Area Rug 9 x 12 Non Slip -Pile Ultra Soft Area Rug, which is a dream. It is Soo, Soft on your bare feet. It looks Amazing. I Highly Recommend Buying this Area Rug for your Home. You will Not be disappointed for the price, and the quality. Its a beautiful Product.

I loved the rug until I tried to vacuum it. I have tried 2 different upright vacuum and both stuck in the carpet. The rug is soft. Colors are good, but not at all like the picture. Nap is great for pets/hair. But how will I clean it???
