I have 2 plecos. They seem to really like this food. They are getting very big. The price is good. I will continue to buy.

I give it to my pleco to convince him not to eat my plants but it's loved by all my other fish as well. They just wait until it gets soft and they will shred it and eat it. I think it's a perfect size and texture. I like that it has two different color portions which I assume they consist of different material. It arrived in perfect shape, nothing was broken, all the wafers are similar size and thickness. I would not expect anything else from tetra and it definitely delivers. And on the plus side, it's actually cheaper than no name food from PetSmart. Absolutely recommended!

Great product. I use them to feed my tiny catfish.

Good product and good value for the money

We have 2 Plecos in our fully planted 55-gallon aquarium. One pleco is approximately five inches long, while the other is around two 1/2 to three inches long. A few days after planting a few Amazon Swords, I noticed they were showing multiple holes in them, to the point where a few days later, 75% of the swords' leaves looked like lace. I racked my brain trying to figure out the problem and if it was invasive snails or bad water quality. Lo and behold, one night, I observed the smaller Pleco absolutely destroying one of the last healthy Swords. In all of my years with Plecos, I never had one eat our live plants. But, come to think of it, I always bought lesser broad-leafed plants. I did a little research and found that algae wafers would be a great option to keep the Pleco from eating the plants (in addition to cucumbers, etc). Because it was so late at night when I finally caught the little guy destroying the plants, I couldn't get to either a pet store for wafers or the grocery store for veggies. I ordered these PlecoWafers with a 4 am delivery and received them a few hours later in the morning. Since putting these in the aquarium, the little Pleco now only eats these and whatever algae is left on the glass that the larger Pleco doesn't get. Our three mystery snails also love the wafers. How do I know the Pleco leaves my Amazon Swords alone? After pruning all the destroyed leaves, I left 2 remaining leaves on their stems, and they have not been touched. I'm looking forward to new leaves growing in the future. This was an essential purchase, and again, our one Pleco and three snails love them.

I've been ordering these wafers for years. I've got a Pleco that loves them as an extra snack. The cost is usually really good and for the amount you get, it's worth it. Keep your eyes out for 2 for one deals!

My sucker fish loves these plecowafers!! Green in color, perfect size to drop in the tank for him. As soon as I drop one in he will be there eating!!
