This product has significantly improved my ability to relax in the evenings. While it hasn't completely solved my insomnia, I am now able to rest and feel calm at night. Surprisingly, the taste is quite enjoyable. I have tested other products like this before, but none have compared in taste. I am pleased with the results and will definitely continue using it.

Seems to be a pretty good deal. Tastes pretty good. Mixes fine, though some clumps a little just have to rinse the glass to get every last bit. After a few nightly doses I noticed my bowels seemed to be effected. But I took about 2 scoops instead of the recommended 1. A little bit of tummy gurgling before bed. Not too bad and probably a good thing really as i could use a boost to regulate my bowels. Seemed to sleep better and more easily as well. Can't say for sure if it helped my mood but didn't seem to hurt it either. Hard to tell but I think there was a demonstrable increase in calmness. Mostly I wanted the magnesium for bowel health, better sleep, and to help with muscle cramps and spasms. I think I may have less of those now with the help of biotix' magnesium, but I suspect that is something that will take more time to help with. I do hard labor and sweat a lot from work and play so could use the electrolytes. I think an electrolyte imbalance is a cause of muscle cramps and spasms and so I am hoping a more regular intake of magnesium supplement will benefit me. So far, about half a bottle in, it has seemed to, and with continuing supplementation I am hoping it will help more pronouncedly. Many supplements take a little time, like a week or 2, before really noticeable benefits. With the Biotix magnesium complex I immediately noticed benefits, particularly more restful sleep, pretty much right away, and after a few days, better bowels and possibly a reduction in muscle cramps and spasms. Thinking a few more weeks of it will help even more with that.

I’ve tried a lot of magnesium supplements, but GoBiotix Honey Citrus flavor is hands down my favorite. It tastes like a warm hug in a glass smooth, slightly sweet, with just the right touch of citrus. It’s like sipping spa water that happens to chill you out and help your muscles recover. I usually take it in the evening and within 30 minutes, I feel calm, my tension melts away, and I sleep like a baby. It’s also great post-workout it helps with soreness and keeps me feeling balanced. No weird aftertaste, no gritty texture, and most importantly no digestive issues (if you know, you know). Love that it’s clean, effective, and made with care. If you’re looking for a delicious way to unwind, recover, and support your body daily this is it. Total win.

TLDR: very sweet, doesn't dissolve well, hasn't seemed to help with headaches or sleep. Will update if anything improves. Not a fan of this product. I bought it because I needed a quick replacement for my magnesium mix I usually get from my doctor. I was specifically looking for magnesium glycinate and magnesium carbonate which I take for migraines and sleep. I mix the powder with some seltzer water and tart cherry juice at night. This mix does not have the carbonate, but has citrate which is supposedly more easily absorbed and is what carbonate becomes when added to water. Dissolving: This powder does not dissolve in my nighttime "mocktail". No matter how well you mix it, there will not only be clumps of powder but also powder settling at the bottom. I could still choke it down, but on top of not dissolving it makes the drink overwhelmingly sweet. If you look at the ingredients, it has both monk fruit extract and stevia leaf extract - so two sweeteners, which is so excessive in my opinion. I really wish it came without sweeteners. Flavor: I purchased the honey citrus thinking that, out of the three, it would go best with the tart cherry juice. The "honey" flavoring probably also contributes to the overly sweet effect. Overall, not a fan of the way it changes the drink. That's really just a personal preference, I don't like sweet drinks and actually like the tart cherry juice taste. I might try adding more seltzer to dilute it a little, but at the same time, I'm not trying to drink 10 oz so close to bedtime. Sleep: I got this to help with my sleep. Not only do I have difficulty falling asleep, I also wake up frequently. I will update later after I've continued to use it for a little while, but so far this has not helped. My other mix when combined with the tart cherry juice would make me drowsy within minutes of finishing the drink and I would only wake up once or twice. With this mix, not only am I not drowsy, I toss and turn for hours before falling asleep. Every night I've taken it, I also wake up what seems like once an hour all night long. I also don't usually dream, but so far I've unfortunately had dreams every night, which means nightmares for me. I guess that means I'm reaching REM but as much as I wake up at night I still feel horribly groggy. Headaches: I have bad migraines, I've gotten them under control for the most part but I still take magnesium to keep them at bay. So far I've woken up every morning with a headache, but I'll update on this as well if it gets better.
