Emergency Pressure Bandage (Israeli Type) Dynarex 4" Each

I have been carrying one of these in an ankle rig and I finally used it today. It wasn't a bleeding trauma... I used it to hold an ice pack on a badly sprained and swollen ankle. But it gave me an excuse to open the package(s) and inspect the merchandise.The white external bag is very durable and it appeared to be air tight (easy to check, because it's full of air) despite months of wear in my ankle rig. It was easy to tear open. The inner bag is thick gauge vacuum sealed plastic. It also has a rip notch, making it easy to open.The bandage itself has an absorbent pad on one side and Ace-type bandage on the other. I did not cinch it down as much as you might for a heavy bleed. I was just holding on an ice bag. But the product appears to be up to the task.I am here ordering another, to replace my backup, which went into the ankle rig, to replace the one that I used.

It's a real IDF 4" pressure bandage that also moonlights as a tourniquet if you are running low on dedicated TQs. Hint: rip the outer bag off and you can fit the vacuum packed bandage in quite small place. I have 4" and 6" IDF bandages in my IFAK.

I got this strictly to practice with although it could absolutely be used for a minor but otherwise persistently bleeding injury.

I have not ordered this item from this user however i have many of these in my personal medical kits. The first review on this item is misleading the package with air in it can be removed with out having a sturel issue. As the bandage is vacuum sealed in a second pouch.

Well made, great durable packaging. This bandage is a must for first responders and anyone who knows first aid. I keep one in the car, the back pack and in the first aid kit.

Get a couple 4" size for home, car, boat, etc. Easy to use and essential to your first-aid kit for severe bleed injuries. Replaces multiple items in your old kit.

Not what was pictured. Bandages are good but comes in massive bulky pa Kate with no inner seal. I needed something compact, not this.
