Slime Out Treatment for Stains from Red Cyanobacteria in Fresh or Saltwater Aquariums (10-Count)

Been using this product for cyano break outs in my aquariums for years. I really love it, it works well, never had it harm a single creature or plant and thats why I stick with this product. Even my little neocaridina shrimp have never been harmed by this product. I have only used it for green cyano. I can smell it weeks before it shows any visual signs and I use this right away! Great stuff! Decent price!

This product is a DREAM COME TRUE, and it saved my fish! I've had an issue with green slime since last year that I could not get to go away no matter what I tried. I would have to do a water change every other day to keep it from reappearing, and I took everything out, got all new gravel, plants, and decorations for inside the tank and it still came back. I eventually decided that maybe the bacteria got into the glue holding the walls of the tank together, and came to the conclusion to get rid of the tank for an upgraded slightly larger one instead. When the same issue happened with this tank, I was devastated. Its larger and harder to clean, and it kept coming back every couple of days so I was in a constant cycle of water changes. I tried EVERYTHING. Fluval's algeafix, different kinds of medicines, everything I can think of and NOTHING worked. I was going to get a UV light and try that, but I decided to try this first and I am SO glad I did. The first application didn't yield good results. There wasn't much of a change, and I was disappointed. So I did a water change as directed and tried again, and with the second application it was GONE! From my gravel, the plants, the sides of the walls-- like it was never there in the first place. I was amazed. And the best part is that it stayed nice like that for a long time! I only had to change the water every other WEEK instead of every other day, and my fish looked a lot happier and healthier. I'm ordering more of this right now, it's definitely my new go to! I would recommend it to anyone who has tried everything and is on the fence of buying specialty equipment and stuff. It's worth it!

I had what I thought was algae for quite a long time. Turned out some was algae, some blue green cyno. I purchased this and three doses later all gone! Shrimp fine! Pea puffers fine! Plants fine. Doesn’t seem to have effects on biological bacteria. Plenty for later but hope I’ll never need it.

Had a carpet of blue slime growing and read about this product on AI. Received the product that contained separate sealed packets inside the box. Used the recommended amount and changed water after 48 hours. The slime slowly died and eventually disappeared in 72 hours (no scrubbing needed).

I had a 10G that was COVERED in this slime. I would manually clean it then the next day it would be worse! Bout this. The first day I used half a pack (1/8th tbs) then the next day (24 hours later) I used the other half. Then waited another 24 hours and performed a water change. After the water change I added another half pack. The next day(24 hours) added the other half then the next day (48 hours) a water change. Repeated this one more time. Used a total of 3 packs and my tank has been completely clear. There’s been complaints about when the slime dies, it clogs filters. I didn’t have this issue. I didn’t manually clean any slime whatsoever, just let it do it’s thing. When I was completely done I did clean my filter, but it wasn’t any dirtier than typical the slime seemed to just disintegrate I didn’t find hardly any in my filter.

It will not clean the stains or kill the cyno instantly it takes time I use it three times already and three water changes after two week I say it will work some what but not sure if will eliminate the stains completely it works very slowly but it is noticeable that it made a difference. It will not hurt any of my plants or fish I say it is safe to the aquarium. I will order some more and keep doing water changes and use the stain remover to see if I can eliminate it completely. My aquarium is a 90 gallon with medium amount of fish and large amount of plants high tack tank with bright light co2 and loads of circulation. Is filter by FX4 .
