I bought this cord based on a YouTube video and it has disconnected 10 minutes into every game I have played. I don't know if it is a faulty cord or what, but until I am proven otherwise don't waste your time with this cord.UPDATED!!The Kiwi team was very kind when reaching out to me regarding my review. They sent me a new cord within two weeks of submitting this review and now the cable is working perfectly! Just double-check the port you are using and if that doesn't help the Kiwi team will help you.Thanks, guys!

Updated:After messing around and finally found the reason. It was the motherboard USB 3.0 and 3.1 issue. Couldn’t find the correct working driver for my motherboard to make it work, So after I drop in a PCIE USB3.1 card, the cable works prefect and the speed is exceeding the Oculus OEM cable. Changing to 5 stars. Funny part is, the 80 bucks oculus cable works on both drop in USB card or USB ports on motherboard without any issues. But one thing to confirm, kiwi cable is good!Decent cable for the price, but it has issues. Maybe Oculus related. When plug in USB 3.1 port, it works perfectly but Oculus app only shows USB2.0 connection with 350 mbps speed. Just like other Chinese off brands cables. When plug in to regular USB 3.0 ports, the windows doesn’t recognize the USB device at all, tried front back and USB 2.0 ports, just doesn’t work at all. Same issue with other off brand cables. So after messing around for longtime, eventually picked up a Oculus OEM link cable, no problem at all, USB test shows USB3 connection. Feels really like oculus related and the way they are force people buying their crazy over priced 80 bucks USB type C cable.

(Edit 10/11/22)Kiwi reached out to me and had a new cable sent out incredibly quickly. They were very professional, and so far the new cable seems to be working great!I bought this product months ago and since have been trying every possible method to make it work properly. Firstly, when I initially got the cable the cord was covered in lumps, like it had been twisted around repeatedly and no amount of untwisting would fix it. Secondly, it regularly disconnects from my PC and the quality of the picture starts deteriorating after less than an hour of use. When that happens, the cord is practically unusable, and I have to wait until at least the next day in order for whatever the hell happened to reset itself. At first I thought it was my 3.0 usb port, but after confirming that nothing was wrong with it and changing the charging settings, I concluded that it's definitely the cable. I was really hoping that I could eventually find a fix for it because I've used Kiwi's products in the past without issue, but now I'm realizing that I was sent an absolutely terrible cable.

Edit1: after reaching out to KIWI's customer support, they offered me to refund or replace the cable. Because of the great customer service I've added 3 stars to my rating.I've read the reviews here but decided to ignore the bad ones since I really liked the KIWI's head strap. But that was a mistake. The cable looks nice but very unreliable. The first time I used it it got disconnected three times but I thought maybe the issue is my case's USB port, so I switched to the motherboard's port and it worked fine for the rest of that day and the next time I used it. However, today when I wanted to use it for the third time, it didn't work. The test on oculus app goes fine but when you try to connect on the headset it gets stuck in the loading and sometimes gives you an error saying the pc is disconnected.

Bought this product for Oculus link, and it works great. This wire stays connected, and has data transfer speeds fast enough to give good quality. This cable is all use and is cheap enough that it could even be a go to cable. Great product! Would buy again!

I ordered this product after hearing good things and seeing it was a cheaper alternative to the $80 meta cable. However, it is quite clear to me now that this is an extremely cheap alternative as the first cable I received was defective, failing to remain connected to my oculus for more than a minute at a time. All troubleshooting options were gone through tediously and I even went as far to reset my oculus entirely to see if it would begin working. I finally decided that the cable was defective and got a replacement through Amazon, assuming that the issue would be fixed since it would be hard to imagine that happening twice in a row. However, the second cable did not even function out of the box. No detection from my computer and no detection from the oculus as well. I’ve read other reviews where the cable was defective and their replacement fixed the problems but I am guessing I was just unlucky, but I will be taking my money elsewhere to find a product that is more reliable.

This is a great link cable for the quest 2, cheap relative to the proprietary meta cable and works just as well. It will charge your quest while using as well but unfortunately not enough for the percentage to go up, only to extend your battery life. However, the extension on battery life is still very substantial and will afford you several more hours of gameplay, more so than I've ever needed personallyI also like that the USB-c end that goes into the quest is canted 90 degrees, which makes it more stable and less susceptible to being cranked in to during gameplay.

I use this to play DCS. Performance is good. Oculus software speed test for Oculus Link shows that throughput is good. Nice thick cable with solid construction.

This is a must buy if you have a VR or is going to use a VR very good price and very robust and won’t break easily, amazing for plugging your VR to the PC or to a usb charger while you play.

Long peut-être même trop ce câble fait le taf il est de bonne qualité ( vous voyez c'est le genre de produit on sait que c'est de la bonne qualité rien qu'au toucher )

Ich finde den Preis für das Kabel von Meta eine Frechheit. Knapp 80 Euro für ein Kabel? Auf der Suche nach Alternativen sollte man vorsichtig sein. Nicht jedes Third-Party Kabel ist kompatibel (laut Meta - ausprobieren auf eigene Gefahr). Da das KIWI immer wieder als grossartige Alternative angepriesen wird, habe ich es mir bestellt. Es funktioniert einwandfrei. PC-VR Titel laufen sehr stabil (und wenn nicht, dann liegt es an meinem eher durchschnittlich starken PC). Zur Haltbarkeit des Kabels kann ch wenig sagen, da ich relativ selten in virtuelle Welten eintauche. Bis jetzt macht es aber einen ordentlichen Eindruck, was die Qualität betrifft. Von mir daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!PS: Ob es mit der Quest 3 kompatibel ist, weiss ich nicht.
