i'm so glad i read some of the reviews
it's what the reviews said that made me get this one and I must say they where right this is worth the money I put it on my vibe shearwater 125 cause my transducer is to long to put where they have made a spot for it, I'm very happy with the out come works well and holds my transducer just fine wish I took a picture of it very happy with it

Yeah super easy to put together.
No instructions or directions in mine but didn’t really need. Just took a quick look at the pictures on the description and ran with it.

Worked good for my pontoon.
Worked well for my Pontoon boat to attach the Dragonfly Wi-Fish. Tricky though. Not long enough to reach from the deck to below the pontoon where I wanted it. I wanted it outside of the extreme turbulence the pontoons generate. This mount puts it there. I had to mount it to the bottom of the deck to get the depth.. I'm happy with it. There could be one more piece provided, an extra tooth washer to fit inside of the new Dragonfly transducers, but not a big problem at all. I imagine the other universal mounts have the same problem...

Needs longer bolts for installation.
Had to make some modifications.

For a bass boat this transducer mount arm is way short.
I had to modify this mount arm by adding 6 inches in order to make it work on my bass boat. If you go this route you may need more than 6 inches, be ware. The mount works really after modification because I have a Motorguide XI3.

Easy to install. Sturdy. Simple to use.
Great product for transducer on boat.Simple to install.Comes with small bolts AND/OR screws to use for mounting.I’d definitely order again.This mount also holds up while still in the water and you’re doing about 30 mph in your boat because you forgot to raise it up. Twice.Sturdy and foolproof for guys like me.

It's not just for kiacks
A terrific product. I am a shallow water salt water fisherman. I put this on my pontoon boat. It is so easy to get my transducer out the the water and harms way when I know I might be getting too shallow. I am sure it saver 8 or 10 replace transducers.

Decent little mounting system for my 14' fishing boat
Pretty decent little light duty mounting system.Works well on my 14 foot fishing boat with 15hp motor. Mounted at rear and can nicely run transducer skimmer into the water and seems quite sturdy on this little boat. Pretty happy with this purchase and value for the money (could be a little cheaper but not bad, and still cheaper then others).

Not for sit in Kayaks
The product is well made but does have a few problems. It does not mount to sit in kayaks very well. The arm would have to stick out the side to much to clear the side of the kayak. Also it is not very easy to rotate up and out of the way. I do believe it would work well for sit on open kayak or any other watercraft that has a flat mounting surface at the side of the hull.I returned the product with no problems and purchased a different brand.
