I very seldom leave reviews for anything, especially on Amazon. but I felt this one to be warranted. Professional luggage abuser here, traveling globally on average 120 nights per year for both business and personal. Thought I'd give it Luggage a try. I made a poor choice. I really wanted to like this luggage. I even bragged it up a bit at first, just like it was bragged up to me originally to get me to try it. This luggage set literally traveled the world, visiting Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and the Caribbean, all originating from the U.S., several destinations many times, over the span of about 30 months. I'm not a luggage connoisseur - more of a luggage pragmatist seeking for good value for the money. My 2 favorite luggage features have become: lightweight and durable. Comparative brands I've owned are: many Samsonite and Travelpro, a couple Delsey, Skyroll (R.I.P.), Solgaard (gimmick, a total waste of money), and way back in the day before I knew better the likes of American Tourister and whatever other big box store brands I could find. Pros: - Super lightweight - this is why I wanted to try this set - Good price point for a set of 3 - Shell held up, never cracked, like many of my previous ones though both the large and the medium blew out the screw cover "rivets" on the lower backside - Good comfortable low-profile side handles and good extension handle that never had any issues - Simple, lined interior with elastic strap on one side and zippered flap on other; never really could find a way to use the 'side pocket' - Nice side locks, not on top Cons: - The carry-on size was pointless. It was small comparatively to other carry-on hardsides and lost way too much internal space to the "front pocket". I used it maybe twice for an overnighter or maybe a 2-nighter. Not enough room for my toiletries bag, a change of clothes and a set of workout clothes with an extra pair of shoes. Something had to be sacrificed to fit in it. - Internal zippers broke on all 3 sizes...at least they were consistent. - Rail system severely limited space on the handle side of each. An external rail system would have been much better. - The wheels are terrible - I know that the baggage handlers are hard on them, to the point where I think they try to break them, but I spent the last 2+ years stealing wheels off the little one, then the medium one, to keep at least the large one usable. They typically lost one side of the dual sided wheels making them not roll on that particular wheel. Or sometimes part of the wheel itself broke off making a nice little square wheel, which as you can imagine doesn't roll well. Sometimes, it was just gone altogether. - Customer Service is even worse than the wheels. I reached out to it Luggage via their website multiple times regarding the wheels. Not complaining; instead offering to purchase extra wheels so I had replacements available when they would inevitably fail. I got really good at replacing them (unzip, 2 screws, rezip liner, done) so it was not a big issue to me to do so. I got absolutely no response. Ever. Crickets. Why even have an email or form on your website? Just avoid the false hope of some level of customer experience improvement and tell me I'm on my own next time! Being able to get some extra wheels might have bought this luggage set another 12-18 months for me. In the end, don't waste your time or money with it Luggage. Stick to the proven brands that actually value their customers.
