The magnet is either very strong, or its wide cover area makes it functionally strong. I put it on just a dorm fridge and it works perfectly. I forgot the magnet was also there to catch the cap. Surprised, but pleased.

I was going to mount this to my cabinent but after just sticking it to my fridge, it works just fine. The magnet, is strong enough to hold in place while opening bottles and it catches the caps. Great to stick tonfridge , but it does come with mounting holes if you want to attach to wall.

Wanted a bottle opener for camping, this fit great on my outdoor fridge, very sturdy and functional. Will probably buy another one for my beer fridge at home

Bought this for our roommate and did not realize how sturdy and well made this would be. Once you place it is very hard to move which is good for opening beers. Holds up to 8-15 bottle caps so far. My only complaint is how easily it gets scratched but also shows its being used often lol.5/5 stars!

This opener is SO nice.The quality is leaps and bounds above any other I've seen.The only down side is that it has to be hard mounted. That means mechanically fastening it to the mount. surface. I am skeptical of any product that relies on a magnet. This product did not let me down. It is on my garage refrigerator and does not budge when opening bottles. The magnet to catch caps works about 90% of the time which is not bad in my opinion, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I would buy this again and recommend it to others.

I've wanted to get a mounted bottle opener for years but my wife did not want anything screwed into the wall of our kitchen. She ended up finding this magnetic one and gave it to me as a gift. As it is magnetic, I was not certain if it would stay secure or fall off when being used, but it is EXTREMELY strong and does not move at all when using. I have it mounted on the side of our refrigerator and it is very secure. I also didn't know how much I'd like the magnetic bottle cap catcher, but now think it's great. This is a very well designed product that I was strongly recommend.

Looks good, but useless. If your bottle isn't in at the right angle it doesn't work.Will have to modify when I have the time!

We loved the idea of the magnet catching the bottletops and although it is still pretty cold outside we look forward to when family and friends can meet the challenge of 40 caps on the magnet. We also bought one for our son's home.
