Easy to swallow for a large pill.

I used Carlson fish oil because of its purity and efficacy and have never had any issues with smell or bad taste. I am careful though to not take too many as I can get heartburn easily if I do. Apparently the 4 top things to look for in a good quality fish oil: Purity (either EuroFins- or IFOS-compliant), Freshness (free of fishy tastes or smells), Form (triglyceride form) and Potency (should contain close to a gram of a balanced mix of EPA and DHA). Unfortunately Carlson does not live up to all 4 of these criteria but best to always ask the manufacturer for a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your specific batch which will tell you the exact content of not only EPA and DHA (the good stuff) as well as levels of oxidation (Peroxide Value), heavy metals, and any potential bad bugs (E.coli, staph, salmonella, yeast, and mold).

This is the most acceptable fish oil I have tried. It doesn’t smell of fish. It’s easy going down. Due to certain medications I have dry skin and fish oil is helping that condition. I feels fresh every day I take it.

These are big pills but doesn't have a fishy smell. I believe it's working well. Just make sure to keep them in the fridge when the weather starts getting hotter or you will get pills stuck together.

I usually buy Carlson at my local health store. So happy it's on Amazon now. Carlson is the best of fish oils. It's fresh with no added junk in it. I will only and always buy this brand.

These are high quality. I learned a long time ago that all fish oil supplements will cause "burps" for me, even when they claim that they won't. With the orange (or lemon) flavored options at least the burps don't taste like fish. These are my second favorite behind the Barlean's, and only b/c they cost a bit more. But still good quality for the value.

I decided I should probably take fish oil because it’s considered effective for dozens of maladies according to WebMD, including lowering the risk of stroke, slowing the rate of bone loss, and lowering high blood pressure. And, I didn’t eat nearly enough fish to get the benefits of fish oil. I chose Carson Labs’s fish oil because the Alliance for Natural Health-USA listed them as one of their trusted supplement manufacturers. I subscribed to the soft gels through Subscribe & Save to save. I’ve been taking fish oil for approximately several years. And, nothing about the Carson Labs fish oil really struck me as different from any of the other cheapo ones I’ve taken other than the fact that they taste better. I’m tired of getting fish oil soft gels that taste like fish oil. If I wanted that, I’d buy fish-flavored Gushers. Why can’t they stick with the natural orange flavor? Well, Carson Labs did. When I chew these soft gels, they taste like the Gushers I imagine billionaires eat: delicious. Overall, I give them five stars. Please let me know if you have any questions. UPDATE: But seriously, do not chew fish oil soft gels. EWWW!
