I wanted this, not to display pins, but to display my small collection of retro silver. The black velvet shows it to perfection. I simply removed the velvet covered foam pad and there is ample room. I can insert the pad over the items for protection when they're not on display I don't know what the box is made of but it is stiff and sturdy and totally covered with the black fabric, with a gold clasp. It looks very classy. I had a few negative thoughts having read the reviews, but I am not disappointed in any way. Just what I wanted and I am delighted.

I bought this medal box to give to someone as a gift. So as far as I know no complaints, value for money easy to use, and quality is very good.

This has made a great display case for all my charity pin badges, purchased over years and just sat in a drawer.

This box is perfect for the pins I collected for a long time. Size is good, material is good. There is also two hinged locked for securing nothing fell out from it. The wooden box is rigid, the fabric inside is of high quality and the hinge is smooth when opening. It is a fine box for displaying all my pins. It is also good in money value.

I really like this item. It’s attractive, sturdy, perfect for the purpose I bought it for and I’ve been complimented for how much I was able to put in it. Functions well and it can hold quite a bit. Good for organising jewellery.

I had bought a similar item from another seller but had to return it as the glass was broken on delivery. I don't know who packs these items (Amazon or the seller) but the first one was just the item in a box with a bit of their brown packing paper to stop it moving around. There was nothing to protect the glass. This one had two layers of bubble wrap around the outside, plus a layer of cardboard top and bottom, sandwiched within the bubble wrap plus two layers of bubble wrap within the display case itself to protect the glass. The packing was first class.The item is just what I want for the many pin badges that I have collected over the years in order to display them, rather than keeping them shut away in a box. I would recommend this product, especially as it's at a reasonable price.

For the price it’s okay as a medal box. It is velvet so didn’t like that bit.Partner was pleased with it but I would have prefer wood and would of paid extra. Wouldn’t buy again
