Ruppel's Manual of Pulmonary Function Testing 11th Edition

If you are currently doing PFT's but haven’t read this you need to now. This is an excellent resource for the CPFT and RPFT. I have my RPFT and am constantly referencing this and past editions. The first time I read this I could hardly put it down. I have gone through it cover to cover several times. Many people are doing things wrong because they have never been told different. This book covers the how and why tests and equipment need to be done and maintained certain ways. If you are a respiratory therapist and assume you know how to do PFT's, you don't. You need to read this book.

The book arrived about a week after ordering. For my fellow students who get their financial aid, almost literally the day before classes started, a week turn around time is very reasonable. Packaging was thorough, and the book arrived without any damage or scratches in great condition.

This is THE BIBLE for PFTs. Gregg had done a great job with this over the years and now Carl has been passed the torch. Carl has already added some new sections with the help of Susan Blonshine and others. The new information is not just "fluff'. It's very good information and keeps the book relevant to today's PFT lab. It will become the "go-to" resource for any PFT lab.
