I have tried every which I could possibly think of to get the tray to sit right, and it just won’t. Attempting to julienne carrots and 1/4 of them didn’t even end up in the tray. I should’ve just found a flat bottom bowl. The slicer gets stuck sometimes and throws the food, which i think is the main reason. Plus, you need to keep playing with the setting in the back to get the appropriate cut. Also, even with the brush, it is a pain to clean. There’s so many different blades and slots, then when you consider how much food gets thrown, it just gets everywhere. I do like the suction cups on the bottom and over time, you can definitely learn what does what and how to get it to make the cut you want. You’re just going to set aside some time and veggies to figure it out. I kept going back and forth, but i don’t think I would recommend it.

Used mainly for potato slicing, after a few months of use I found this unit difficult to clean and cuts needed plenty of effort. I could not recommend this unit.

As far as slicers go, this one is sturdy and cuts well... even juicy things like fruit.The hole where you place food inside to be chopped could stand to be bigger because even small apples have to be halved first before going in.I also found it difficult to clean. They do include a small brush to get around the blades but it was easier for me to use a fork and the spray nozzle on my sink.

The media could not be loaded.  I hand washed everything prior to use. All I had on hand were some hard pears but the sliver had no problems cutting right through them. Worked well and I especially liked the catch all tray and the suction cups they included and attached to the bottom to keep the slicer in place. They are tiny but super strong. I recommend this product.

Veggies don't land it the compartment. I returned it.

It makes cutting up foods easier. I love it for the most part. It makes a bit of a mess when using the veggies and juices will sometimes fall out on the counter instead of going into the bowl.

I’ve never had anything as hard to use, clean or put together! This thing is awful!!
