Its like a three star conquest here. So for starters, if you are looking for something that’s durable and solid a like rock, then maybe don’t purchase a wood box for $25. However, if you are looking for something that looks fancy for when it’s opened up without it breaking your pocket book, then this is for sure it! It’s like getting all the ooohs and ahhhs without paying the oooh and ahhh type money it might afford. Besides, let’s be super realistic, nobody is so nostalgic that they are going to keep this box after the liquor is gone and yes I do mean liquor!! I mean I like wine just as much as the next gal or guy but I’m pretty sure I gifted three bottles of whiskey in it and I’m pretty sure the seller is totally limiting themselves in this aspect. Let’s be real though, if you live in Wisconsin it totally doesn’t matter if it’s wine or liquor or how many anniversaries the box labels... you’ll probably just drink all three within the first month anyways because that’s kind of what we do here... Especially winter, because there is absolutely nowhere to go when it’s -30 degrees with 80.2 inches of snow on the ground. WTF....

I'm a professional pyrographer, which means that I burn images and lettering onto wood, leather and other materials for a living. I've been thinking about expanding into creating items specifically targeted to the wedding industry and recently purchased a commercial laser-engraver to supplement my handcrafted business. One of the products I intend to offer are custom-engraved wooden wine boxes featuring the bride and groom's names with wedding date and some art on them. I thought these boxes looked like a great option because they have the blank, sliding lid where the engraving can be featured. I gave this product an overall rating of 3 stars because there were things I liked and disliked about this item.Pros -1. The pieces (I ordered both the 1 bottle and 2 bottle boxes) were EXTREMELY WELL packed! Great attention to double wrapping and making sure the bubble wrap was well taped into place. I was really impressed with that!2. Quick shipping - The items arrived really fast...which is what I expect from anything that is an Amazon Prime item. There _was_ a 1 day delay and the items didn't arrive until one day after when Amazon said they would arrive. But still..pretty darn fast.3. The wood is very smooth with a consistent light color and no knots or bumps. Those things make these boxes great for laser-engraving OR hand-burned pyrography.Cons -1. The 2-Bottle Box did NOT come with the center wooden divider as pictured in the product image. I looked more closely at the images they have posted for that product and in both of them it shows the divider...and even a "slot" cut into the wood where the divider would slide in or out. There isn't that dividing slot, either. So, I was really disappointed by that fact.2. The craftsmanship isn't the greatest...the lid bows slightly and the edges aren't sanded smooth so it's a challenge to get the lid to slide fully into the end of the box.3. The boxes are super light weight...which for shipping purposes might be a bit of a plus...but for durability, sturdiness, and a feeling of "quality" those things just aren't there. It FEELS like a cheaply made product.IN SUMMARY - These are great boxes for someone who is crafty and just looking for a great gift box they can personalize with some kind of art. The surface is smooth and would take many kinds of artistic applications well. The box was packed well, items arrived pretty quickly, and overall appearance is nice.For someone who is a business person looking for a quality product, these boxes don't reflect the durability and level of craftsmanship that, at least I, am looking for at Portland Pyrography. I won't be ordering from this manufacturer again because of that fact. I'm ok with having paid for these because I only ordered the two to find out what the quality was and for testing purposes. But...especially for the per-item price...I will be looking for another supplier who better meets my business needs.And...no center divider for the 2-Bottle box. Not even the divider slot cut into the wood...so, clearly this wasn't an oversight leaving out the divider. This fact alone...that the product images are deceptive...means I would not order from Twine Marketplace again.

Purchased the anniversary option, as I found a champagne that said "Anniversary" on it. Planks/panels and screws were strewn about inside the box. It doesn't state anywhere that you have to assemble it, unless I missed that. The straw was everywhere, as well. Very poorly packaged. There wasn't enough screws for the hinges either. There were only 6 screws. Should have been 9! Some of the screws didn't line up properly, so I had to ask for help from the bf. Ended up putting glue in the holes to add some stability to the screws. The planks/panels didn't quite match up either - one was on the yellowish side. I only had two days until the wedding, so couldn't return or exchange. Overall, though, it is not bad for the price. It still looked nice once assembled, but I do wish that all the panels were the same exact color. I paid $29. I surely wouldn't pay anymore for this, and I don't think I would purchase it again. If they fixed these issues, I would rate it a 4 or 5.

Nice boxes. I needEd that size box for my cabinet wine holder slots. It’s very hard to find nice reasonably priced boxes this size. They couldn't have hardware or anything on outside or they wouldn’t fit in the slot. These are very plain, balsa wood boxes for single wine bottle. They fit in the slot perfectly and the easy slide lid will make they nice for storage. I hope I can paint or stain them easily.

absolutely love this wine box! it comes with the fluff inside like the listing photos show and fits three normal sized bottles (i put in champagne and prosecco). the veuve bottle was a little larger so i had to press the padding down more in order to close it, but it still fits! the phrase “eat, drink and be married” is so cute and is engraved into the wood. while there are some discolorations/visible knots, it’s only natural with unstained/untreated wood so not a big deal. be careful of splinters when using! shipped safely in some padding in a larger box. looks great for display/storage/gifting!

Package arrived late. Opened up and noticed the cracks on the side right away. Also a piece of broken wood was also seen but have no idea where it came from. Too late to return because I no longer had time to return and wait for a new one as it was a bday gift. I had to try and Mickey Mouse it to keep it from cracking anymore.

Whenever I give a gift, I pride myself on making the entire experience 'special', so the thought of wrapping a nice bottle of wine in tons of bubble wrap to securely ship was not appealing. I hopped on Amazon and began searching, ultimately selecting this product, which I will totally buy again. It's very well-made, attractive, includes the shredded pine and makes for a lovely presentation. I tied a simple bow around the box along with my gift card and the careful consideration was certainty noted. Strongly recommend!

I was unhappy with the slide on lid cheaper than the rest of the box like MDF, also no good for pyrography burning seemed like it had a thin layer of oil or wax on it

The media could not be loaded.  Extremely bad product, as you can see from the pictures there's no relation to the advertised item with what I received. The box is supposed to have a sliding door, but the wood is warped / curved, so forget closing the lid. The bottom also is extremely thin, put a little pressure and you can break through easily with just your fingers. There is a handle made from jute which again is not in the advertised pictures. Would not recommend this product, first because how shoddy it is and second because the seller cannot be trusted when you see what he's advertised versus the pictures I posted. The worst part is, the price they have been charging for this pathetic product.

I used the box to put a bottle of whiskey (750ml) in which was engraved for our one year anniversary.I also bought an engraving gun for wood and engraved the wooden box. It turned out really good being my first time using a wood engraving gun.

TERRIBLE! Every single box I ordered arrived broken. What a waste of $100!

1 of 2 unfortunately arrived broken. I expected a slight better quality piece for what I got.
