I am 5”5 and this fit perfectly. It is not soft.

This Kurta fit beautifully with one exception - the pants were so tight at the bottom I had to cut and hem them just to get my feet through. However the outfit turned out so well and I fit right in at our friends Indian wedding! (Make sure you use the measurements provided, they are accurate!)

Fits well, and are quite comfortable. The quality also seems good. Note that the pajama is a churidaar. You have to roll up the pant legs above your ankles once they feel tight around your legs. It should create rings around your ankles.

I don't usually write reviews.. but this had to be documented so that others don't waste their money. First of all, we ordered a size small and the pants were enormous (the width of 2 people). The quality is very cheap. And the most notable thing to mention is the HORRIFIC damp mildew smell on both the top and the bottom. It was one of the worst smells I have EVER encountered. It came out of the bag and we had to hold our noses and wash our hands immediately after handling. Smells like it had been left out in the rain and then kept in a cold damp attic for years. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY - DO NOT BUY.

the material is very nice for the price point

This looked and fit much better than I was expecting. I got lots of compliments. However, the right foot hole is sewed much smaller than the left. I have to struggle a bit to get my foot through that hole, and must turn the pants inside out in order to get my foot out of the hole.I bought this specifically for a Diwali party, but if I were going to be wearing it more often, I’d certainly put in the effort to redo that seem. However, I doubt I will wear this more that once or twice per year, so probably not worth the effort.

The fit is alright. The top is a little snug in the middle and the pants are tight at the ankles, (although I believe that's how it's supposed to fit) with excessive extra room in the waist. The color is nice and the fabric isn't heavy. It did come smelling of moth balls or something but that should wash out.
