Essential reading for understanding the road we are on!!
The authors do a fantastic job at breaking down where we are going and how we measure the effects of our actions. It is crucial that we all understand the true effects of the good intentions that the marketing machines push down to consumers. There is a lot of data available, but very little understanding and comprehension on how to consume and apply it. We all need to get a firm grip on the data and the right metrics! Bravo to Christina and Dianna on a job very well done!! Thank you!

highly recommend! loved the data angle to ESG
This book is an excellent, clear, and insightful overview of ESG and its importance today more than ever. The authors not only explain the reasons behind the explosion of ESG commitments from investors, but they also acknowledge the perspective of large companies and startups seeking to attract ESG funds and remain ESG compliant. The role of data and emerging tech is key. There are many components to ESG issues that the authors bring together brilliantly! Definitely recommend!

Simple and insightful
The authors do a fantastic job setting the stage for the importance of a data-driven approach to ESG grounded in frameworks and the evolution of corporate responsibility and ESG as we know it today. By using the cases of some of the largest corporations that are often thought of as leaders in ESG, they highlight the inconsistency when it comes to measurement and data collection, providing recommendations for improvement by using modern technologies. Insightful and educational read that is also actionable for corporate leaders.

A great read on an important topic
If you are trying to understand the ESG landscape and it's growing importance in our world today, this book is for you. The authors do a great job of summarizing the history of ESG, the current landscape, and why companies need to implement ESG strategies to succeed. They examine the issues that come with defining and measuring effective strategies and why data is at the center of it all. Very interesting and insightful.

Books written by computer scientists are the best
Well-organized, efficient, and precise. Great primer on the history of ESG, the evolution of standards, frameworks and ratings, and examples of companies successfully integrating sustainable strategies. A must-buy reference guide.

A Must Read
This book is a very thorough and well thought out overview of the ESG ‘movement’. The authors do a great job of capturing and summarizing all of the disparate attempts to codify rules and measures that will inevitably provide the basis for a universally accepted framework. ESG represents a paradigm shift in corporate accountability and broadens the definition of a corporate stakeholder. This book does an excellent job of making sense of the noise and articulating the spirit and intent of ESG.
