Great for giving grey hair a super boost!
It took me a couple of months to pluck up the courage to try this hair toner, as I was afraid I might end up looking a bit weird. However, I have used it a few times now, and I really love the effect it has on my grey hair. The lighter, whiter parts go noticeably purple, subtle (not full on) purple and the darker parts of my grey hair go a darker shade of grey with a bit of a hint of purple. The overall effect is very pleasing. It gives my otherwise boring, oldish looking hair a bit of zestiness, and knocks a few years of me I think. I certainly don't look at all weird, and I am definitely intending using this toner until may be I decide to try pink. My method of application is to use it in the shower, after shampoo and conditioning. It is very runny, so I just tip the bottle over my head, pour a little bit, then repeat until I think I have covered all of my hair. Yes, it does make a mess but, with the shower running, any excess soon disappears and it leaves no stain on my hands or on the shower surfaces. I do suggest using an old towel for drying, although I forgot the first time and it didn't cause any permanent stain to the towel I was used. I am now a big fan of this toner, and I will suggest it to other 'grey haired old ladies' who want to give their hair a super boost!

good stuff
**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product – Very Happy!** I’m really pleased with this purchase. The quality is better than I expected for the price, and it works exactly as described. It arrived quickly, was well packaged, and was easy to set up/use straight away. I’ve been using it for a little while now and haven’t had any issues. Overall, it feels sturdy, reliable, and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to others and would buy from this brand again.

Pastel pink
The instructions are not in English on the bottle and the instructions on Amazon say 2 tablespoons of dye to 2 litres of water. However that is nowhere near strong enough and I have blond hair. The colour takes more on the ends of your hair which are presumably dryer. If you use a significantly larger quantity of dye and soak your hair in a bucket of the mixture of dye and warm water you get a deeper colour. If it comes out darker than you expected then if you give it a good shampoo that will tone it down a bit. I found the coverage to be a bit patchy and I got my husband to use a paintbrush to paint my hair with a strong solution of dye (at least 2 tablespoons) in approximately 1/4 pint of warm water (it was a very dark colour solution) . I then shampooed my hair thoroughly until the water ran clear and this produced a dark pastel baby pink colour. The dye is a thin liquid much like ink in a shampoo style bottle and some care needs to be taken when pouring it (it could have been in a better style bottle!!). It also stains your hands (especially in dry areas and around your nails). You need to wash it off immediately and wearing gloves would be better. I do not think this is easy to use on your own and it is much better and you will get a better coverage if you get someone else to apply it for you. On the whole I was fairly pleased with the product but I think if I use it again I will mix it with thick shampoo or conditioner and make a coloured cream which I would then leave on my hair until the required colour is achieved. I have not tried this though so I don't know how well it would work but it sounds like a good idea. Once you get your hair to take the colour, it is supposed to be temporary and wash out in 10 washes. In my case this is not going to happen. I have washed my hair significantly since colouring it and once the initial dark pastel baby pink colour was achieved, it has not faded or washed out since then. I have tried using a stripping shampoo and I am going to have to resort to a permanent hair bleaching product to try and remove it. However if you are happy to leave it longer to try and wash it out, it let it grow out, or just keep touching it up and keeping it pink then in my opinion it is a very nice shade of pink. Anyway, it's only hair, it hasn't damaged or dried my hair, so if you want pastel pink hair then give it a go. However, as I said I have blond hair so I do not know what effect this would have on any shade darker than blond. UPDATE - WARNING Hi I just wanted to warn everyone that I have so far been unable to remove this pink colour from my hair! I have washed it several times with a stripping shampoo and this had very little effect. I have since tried using a permanent hair bleaching product with 8x booster powder sachet and although this did lighten my hair to peroxide blond, it still has a pale pink tinge which is very noticeable, although not unpleasantly so. (I still don't understand how it can bleach all the natural colour out of my hair whilst still leaving the dye in, but no doubt there is some scientific reason for this). Before I applied the pink colour I had light blond hair which hadn't previously been coloured for many months, neither had my hair been previously bleached in at least the last 10 years. I am not overly bothered by the fact that my hair is still pink, but I thought I should warn everyone in case they would be. I would suggest colouring a strand of hair from the underneath first and seeing what effect it has on your hair and if you can wash it out before applying it to your whole head, unless you want pink hair for a very long time. Anyway, I still like the product.

Brilliant stuff
My 17yr old daughter uses this. She has naturally curly blonde hair & we were using colourants such as 'live' to keep her a pastel pink but we found that these were fading impeccably quick, over use as regular top ups required & at my expense! I searched the high st & other than box dyes found nothing. Then I found this, and this is the crowning glory! Based like a shampoo she can easily alter the strength of colour by how much she dilutes it. She can be as bright pink or a a hint of it as much as she wants. Her hair condition is better tho she uses non sulfate and parabin free shampoo and treats her curls with essential oils, u get the drift. It washes out rather easy too, at first with weakening to after a few washes can be completely removed however she loves it so much she remains 50 shades of pink permanently. Best thing she found to strip the colour completely she went swimming with a full head of pink and came out completely back blonde. Shampooing usually takes a few goes to fade out but the chlorine completely stripped it. Hint! Overall I'm sure the other colours in this range live up to the same and I would not hesitate to recommend and hope this remains available. It lasts far longer than you'd think and is good on the wallet. The only downside to it, obvs, it is a stain so protect everything as little pink dots are on my grout, towels, floors, walls you name it so be very careful. She's got better after many lectures.

Pink! Wonderful pink!
Here's me thinking I had tried the majority of pink dyes, when up pops this! New to me, very affordable and apparently easy to use to get a range of pinks. Count me in! It's a good sized bottle more like shampoo than the usual small tubes of dye. It seems to be highly pigmented, it's very runny, almost like water, and it stains like a stainy thing. Wear those gloves! The application method is quite different to the majority of home hair dyes. With this Delia Camelio you just use the diluted dye as a final rinse. No mixing or waiting. This can be a tad tricky, as I discovered pretty quickly. We have a wet room with a tiny basin that's too small for hair washing. I definitely didn't want to risk the wet room floor with pink dye. Plus I am disabled which makes anything like this a bit of a military operation! I opted for using an easy to hold jug which I filled with warm water, added 'enough' dye (I aimed at around a tablespoon of dye to the 2 litre jug), carefully and slowly poured it over my hair, and then gave it a gentle massage to make sure I had covered my roots etc. I have been caught out before with dyes that you don't rinse out, and ended up in the rain with pink droplets trickling down my face. Not a good look. So I left the dye for about 5 minutes then rinsed it out. Yes quite a bit of dye rinsed out, but I was still left with very good coverage. Next time I would leave it for longer on just my roots, that first inch hasn't quite worked. I am going to order some more bottles of this, and some different colours. I think it's excellent and one bottle should last a long time.

NOT APRICOT ANYTHING!!
THIS IS NOT APRICOT!! ok so i couldnt find alot of photo reviews for apricot and thought id take the chance anyway so OK! I have a friend who uses this in the colour pink and her hair looks amazing!!! Pink is not my colour I decided to try the apricot in hopes of getting a burnt orange/near red colour. This product is super easy to use there's no doubt there. That's a positive its great it will last MULTIPLE applications it doesn't smell bad it looks great when in water or conditioner. But apricot this is NOT I pre lightened my hair to the same stage I would for going red so I didn't lighten to blonde I went to the orange brass tone so the colour would cling better and have a good base colour for the redish to go on... well this did look red while my hair was wet I done 2 litres of water and 4 tablespoons of the cameleo since I wanted a darker colour as instructed i dipped i seperated i used a cup to rinse it over my hair i dipped again i rinsed i dipped rinsed i dipped again for a few minutes it was a process.... Well it still came out pink PINK!!! After the rinse I even done the conditioner method and left it on for 45 mins.... and it just made more pink if not brighter pink! This is not APRICOT in anyway!!!

Best pink toner on the market
I have pastel pink hair for 5 years now and tried every product for pink but this far the best value. Got a bottle in 2023 and still has like 1/3 of it between using this almost every week to keep the color. Only thing about the no yellow, anyone who knows color theory understands that only violet can cancel out yellow. So it can give a bit more coral like shade if someone has more yellow undertones, I would recommend to mix it with the violet version to color correct.
