Used this for a Govee Light Strip for Secretlab Desk
I had a very specific use case for this product: to take the Govee Light Strip for Desk 10ft and turn it into an alternative against the Secretlab offering of the Nanoleaf magnetic light strip. Their offer was $100 for that strip, and was limited in functionality with the app, colors it could do, vibrancy, you get the picture. So, I had this crazy idea to pick this product up and make my own magnetic light strip for my Secretlab desk. I did, and it worked very well. This product is exactly the same width as the adhesive strip on the Govee desk strip light. Furthermore, it was also strong enough to actually hold, by putting adhesive side to adhesive side. It was light and not heavy in terms of weight. With the Govee light strip at $74 and this at about $6 when I bought it, I not only saved $20 but also I had WAY better options for customer support (Amazon's great, Secretlab customer service sucks) AND Govee lights are just way more user-friendly and much less frustrating. This magnetic tape was well worth the money and it was put to good use. Thanks to this magnetic tape it was possible for me to make my own product which was better for my specific use.

Not very sticky but quick and easy
One use I had involved attaching a screen magnetically to a fiberglass hatch. I bought some metal tape to stick to the fiberglass. This magnetic tape stuck well to the metal tape but not the screen. You just unwind backwards to reverse the curl, cut the tape with scissors, and then pull off the backing on the sticky side. If I was doing it again I would just use Velcro tape which is lighter and can be sewn on the screen. I then used it to attach a DIY easy-to-remove cover to a stainless steel frame to avoid drilling holes for self tap screws. The magnetic hold was more powerful than the magnet tape’s adhesive so I added epoxy to hold the magnet tape in place on the cover.

Strong Hold & Easy to Use
I got this for organizing tools and craft items in the garage, and it’s been perfect. The adhesive is strong and hasn’t peeled off, and the magnet strength is surprisingly good for the size. Easy to cut to the length you need. Would buy again.

NOT Strong!
I ordered this item a few months ago and I just now brought it out to use and I should have tested the magnets when I first got it but I unfortunately trusted the word strong, they are not even strong I wouldn't even say they have any magnetism at all I tried them on different metal surfaces and they are so weak I even tried a parakeets very light with the key ring and the Magnetic field would not hold the keys on. This is just another cheap item that is not as described and anybody to give this more than one star there must be something wrong with them.

Worked great
We needed something to stick banners to a truck for homecoming and this did the trick.

Work well!
I needed these magnetic strips to hang a fabric banner to a metal outdoor wall and they worked really well. The adhesive stuck to the fabric with no problems and the magnets seemed fairly strong- keep in mind they weren’t needed to hold anything very heavy, so I can’t really attest to their overall strength.
