Philips Shaver Series 7000 Dry and Wet Electric Shaver Men (Model S7783/35)

I have the 9000 series shaver and as I have purchased this item as a gift, I cannot honestly review it. What I can say is that apart from using a Braun foil shaver for a couple of years, I have been shaving about four times a week with a Philips shaver for over 50 years and they are all reliable and provide a decent shave, even the budget models. I see this shaver as being no different, it comes with all of the necessary accessories and I have to say, having purchased a 9000 model with a cleaner, I think that they and their capsules are a waste of money and you are just as well to purchase a model without it and just wash it under the tap. A great shaver.

This was purchased as a gift and the recipient is delighted with it. Top highlights he has reported: Closest shave ever from electric shaver (from someone who has been using Philishaves for about 40 years!) A week of shaves from a charge Fast charge time (1 hour) Very light and easy to hold Great at following the contours of the face. Easy to clean with the option of holding under a running tap due to waterproof feature. I was so impressed that I bought a new Philips shaver for myself, which I will review separately.

The shaver itself is OK. The instruction booklet is useless, showing pictures only with no explanation so you don’t have any idea what the indicators on the screen mean. Presumably Phillips do this to save pennies per purchase on having to provide written instructions in several languages!

Changed from wet shave and this model has made that change worthwhile. Using the shaver App has also been helpful so I improve my technique. A good investment.

Shave quality of the razor is ok but could be better. I've bought it, used it 5 times and that's about it. Battery life very short and have to charge it every 3 uses. Comfort ok but hard to do the neck. To high thec for a rasor... For the price, I'd go for something Mor cheap that dose exactly the same job... Still using my 20e and 6years old electric shaver.

Ottimo prodotto peccato che chi lo ha spedito abbia commesso un grande errore. Sapendo che il destinatario è in Italia non abbia fornito un adattatore per la presa di corrente italiana. Nella nostra zona non si trova. Per farlo funzionare ho dovuto adattare un altro fino sperando di non creare guai al rasoio. Nel caso il venditore legga la recensione può sempre spedirmi il filo giusto. Sarebbe gradito anche un eventuale suggerimento.
