I had hand surgery and it was recommended that I get this putty and use it for P.T.I really needed the softer one, even when it got totally "melted". It is a great product, I just recommend the softer one, I believe it is yellow. I showed it to my therapist and they said as a women with a small hand, I needed the softer putty. Otherwise it is a quality product. Gets ready to use quickly-especially if you set it in the sun. But I did find out that as the hand was healing it is the perfect firmness. Love it.

I use theraputty to help my students with concentration and they LOVE it. (I work in elementary SPED -all grades.) You don't even need to give them a whole can. To save money, I just give each child a small chunk that they can fiddle with during class, and they keep it in a little baggie when not in use. It doesn't dry out and it is a minimally-distracting fidget that also helps them build finger muscles. Many of my students have thanked me for letting them use this tool and I've seen a huge gain in sustained focus for a few of my students. I just wouldn't use one that is too firm (soft is my go to)You can use it as an aid in reading (making chunks to tap out words with) too!

This has worked great for distracting my kids at appointments, restaurants, etc. Its small, not messy, and easily stays in my purse for when we need it!

I purchased the “soft” therapy putty to use after my CT surgery. I can’t squeeze it at all, not even with my good hand. Way too hard.

Used this at granddaughters physical therapy. Add beads to stretch and pick beads out. Easy to use while watching a show
