Swedish Picture Dictionary Coloring Book: Over 1500 Swedish Words and Phrases for Creative & Visual Learners of All Ages (Color and Learn)

You’ll love this basic vocabulary book. It shows the Swedish words and they meanings in English. This book is intended to be a coloring book as well. Easy to read and fun to have. My grandmother spoke English with a Swedish brogg. She also used SWINGLISH that I learned from her as a child. We have more fun repeating the words and stories with that added to our memory. Practice words that are familiar, and reade the vocabulary thinking you’re really going to study. I like the book. It’s fun remembering.

We had a Trivia game at our last meeting. All questions came out of this hood. Very helpful.

I enjoy using multiple sources when learning a language. I’m not an expert in Swedish, but to my knowledge this book is good. I like using picture dictionaries to increase vocabulary. If you are like me you’ll probably like this too. I have a few small critiques. I’ve found a few typos and errors. They are few and far between, but the book does need another proofing. Also all nouns would benefit from the “en” of “ett” designation in the word list. It is impossible to learn Swedish nouns properly without knowing which to use While the majority of nouns are “en” 25% are “ett”. I will of course be looking that up and writing it in for any nouns I do not already know. I’m looking forward to coloring as I learn as well. It’s a great thing for a kinesthetic learner like me. In closing, I’m pleased with this book and believe it will be a valuable part of in my learning efforts.

This is an excellent reference for anyone just beginning to learn Swedish grammar and vocabulary. The essential basics of the language are all thoroughly covered but it is still totally lagom (look it up if you don't know what that means ;) Wonderfully clear line drawings and layout make it the perfect coloring book with accompaning quizzes and clozes with each unit. This would make a great gift for any student of Swedish. Tusen tack LingoMaster for continuing to add quality learning material for this subject.

I received a copy from the author and am leaving my review voluntarily. This was a really fun book. I’m not that big on coloring books but I found this to be a unique and interesting addition to the lingo mastery line up. This book is mainly suited for beginners but there were still some words I learned that I didn’t remember well before or even encountered before. Overall I’m looking forward to seeing what lingomastery does next with their books

This is a great beginner level book for learning Swedish while also having fun coloring. My son enjoyed it and I enjoyed helping him with Swedish!

Molto utile e ben strutturato

I bought this for my son (who is a big fan of anything Swedish) to help him improve his vocabulary, however I am enjoying this too- it is divided into different topics family, human body, seasons, house, sports and there are also some grammar sections too. I like the support to pronounce the word. There are quizzes to check knowledge, example sentences and some reading/comprehension activities. There is a useful section at the start of the book on the Swedish alphabet and pronunciation of letters, nouns endings and verb tenses. A great resource.

I found it very useful with short grammar and specially pronunciation guiding rules. And then the mean part which for me the methodology of using pictures makes easier to understand (bildordbok). I haven't explored the "coloring activities" as much, but pictures besides the vocabulary list (with the pronunciation) was very useful and effective for me, complimented by the quizzes.

The book is well conceived generally, but the reason I am sending it back is that all the words are given without articles, which is very irritating, because when you learn a new word you should learn it with its en/ett article right off the bat. Otherwise, it's a double job to have to look up each word to know its article. Not worth it.
