Review of Toner Kingdom Compatible Toner-Cartridge Replacement for Canon 054H 054 Black Toner for Canon Color ImageClass MF644Cdw MF642Cdw LBP622Cdw MF642c MF641cw Printer (Black, 2-Pack) I ordered this to replace a different generic brand of replacement toner that failed. I ordered this after reading reviews and the price was reasonable for 2 black toner cartridges. OEM replacements from Canon are so expensive, but I can get 2 from this seller for $100 less than the manufacturer. The cartridges seem to be well built. It was very easy to install after removing the orange protective cover (there are tabs on the sides that break away first) and then pulling the protective film strip out. This cartridge easily set into place. They recommend giving the cartridge 5-6 shakes back and forth before installing it, and then the instructions recommended cleaning the cartridge after the shakes, but I did not find any toner residue. I wiped the cartridge down, nonetheless. Thus far, it is printing flawlessly. My usage level is home use only so these should hopefully last a good while. If they break down or leak or fail, I will endeavor to update my review accordingly. I did not like that I was not able to determine where these were made. The instructions are easily understood and well written. There are after-sales contact numbers for the USA, UK and other countries.

I work for Canon so I have high expectations. This is a great product and works well with the Canon printer. Bravo to the manufacturer for providing good value when sometimes aftermarket cartridges fall short and performance. This one does not. I'm very pleased.

Bought double pack of black toner cartridges. First one only worked for a couple of months, then it started leaving streaks everywhere. I tried all the troubleshooting options and nothing cleared it up, so I switched to the second cartridge. The second one leaves an occasional stray dot or two, but works good otherwise. One weird thing is that since installing either of these new cartridges, my printer has to "think" every time I want to print something for at least 2 full minutes while spinning the inside parts before it actually prints anything. After it finally starts printing, it works well until the next day. Then I have to wait for it to figure out how to print again. Update: both cartridges were only able to be used 20% or less before they leave completely disgusting garbage ink marks all over the left side of every page. No matter what I do. These are complete trash. Don't believe the reviewers that have only printed a few pages, or only printed for a few weeks. DON'T BUY THESE, THEY DO NOT LAST MORE THAN 100 PAGES.
