The product arrived to Canada a week ahead of schedule which is out of standing. Knuckles are firm but not hard and blend well with the rest of the glove. The palm is made of a material which most likely could withstand gripping of a blade in self-defense and most certainly would stop abrasions in an accident. The fingertips are made of a material which enables me to use my phone screen which is also a bonus. Overall I'm gladly satisfied with my purchase however should product deteriorate in quality prematurely this comment will be amended.

There were threads sticking out in various places from the moment they arrived. The first or second time I went to put these on, one of the loops ripped off. As of now, the stress of just pulling on the edge of the glove where the velcro is- was enough to rip the stitching out of the seam. These gloves are not too small for my hands so I'm not stressing them beyond expectation, and I've never used them for any outdoor work- only for riding a motorcycle. I have had Oakley's gloves in the past which look very similar to these, and they've lasted months of serious torture before I would wear through the fingertips and palms... These have failed just from putting them on. Touch screen capability seems to work all right, but you're not going to be as accurate as you would with your bare fingers. They aren't uncomfortable, but the fit of the knuckles of the glove against your own is by no means flush. I'm about a week over my return cutoff, so I have to chalk this up too a bad choice of purchase. I cannot recommend this product to anyone for any reason.

This product is great if you plan on building a survival bag in case of the apocalypse. One or two good punches with these things would break any man’s jaw and that’s no joke at least if you have power and you know what you’re doing. Please use responsibly. As a test run, I punched threw a thick piece of glass. No splinters in my hands whatsoever.
