African Politics and Society: A Mosaic in Transformation

Sloppy notes with ink that bleeds through to the other side of the pages, as well as bent and torn pages. I needed the textbook for a college class, but the messy annotations on the side are distracting.

Overall, this book is well-written and does a good job of introducing the foundations of African history. However, it seems a bit simple for an intermediate-level college course, which is where I read this book. The author uses a very basic style of writing, introducing terms and diagrams much like a high-school level textbook. Though readers unfamiliar with African history and politics will get a solid background from this book, this text is more about breadth than depth.

I used this book for a class. It helped me a great deal with a project in "Democratic Experiments and Multiparty Politics in Africa". It's not overly verbose.

Very eye opening

I think the book came in very good condition and arrived when they said it would. Didn't have any problem whatsoever and it was sold at a pretty good price.

Good to use
