Life saver!
This powder is amazing!Pros: Absolutely worksCons: Alot but worth it.1. The scent is OVERPOWERING! Be careful and use like 2 surgical mask and gloves when applying anywhere. I would recommend using before bedtime. Close all room doors where you haven’t used the powder and turn on a fan and go to bed then do the rooms when you go to work or something. The smell will shimmer down after like a day. And your house will smell great after a couple of days.2. Pets gotta go. This can kill them and YOU! If handled improperly. Have someone baby sit them or something till you throughly vacuum and wipe down and treat them as well! Do a flea bath and collars or else they’re just gonna Re infest the place, fleas love your pet the most.3. You gotta get like 10 of these if you have a house and like 5 if you have an apartment AINT ENOUGH POWDER IN THOSE CANS! lol the powder is just half the can. shake well before.4. May destroy your vacuum. It didn’t destroy mine but it is coated with powder throughout the vacuum.5. May need to do two rounds of this a week apart and let sit for atleast 24 hrs because the first hit won’t kill them all at once and coat floor or carpet well and light pat in with broom NOT BRUSH Because powder will float everywhere. Put in all cracks and corners.Tip: get flea traps so when they try to escape elsewhere they’ll get lured to the trap and the light, I caught over 50 so double whammy. Not one flea has crawled on me since.

Like the shampoo. not thrilled about the powder
The powder makes dust. It's not dusty when you use it. It's just dusty if you leave it down for awhile.I have used the shampoo on my cats. it works well. But I also use this in my hardwood floor cleaner. I love it! It really helps control the fleas that have some how entered our home.Fleas have never been a concern of mine. I currently have 2 indoor cats and 2 ferrets. I think the ferrets brought them into our lives. We got them from a rescue. I noticed they were scratching often but it was too late. They were not the only thing we rescued.I washed them in dish soap. it worked but it was only temporary. I vacuum everyday, and washed them every other day for a week but still was still a problem. so I started putting the shampoo in the hardwood floor cleaner. Now that helped a lot!. The fleas were living and multiply in the cracks of the hardwood flooring and tiles as well as the carpets and pets. Now we are flea and clear!

Read before you decide
OK, I can't review the efficacy because that would take months to confirm and I am using a three-prong attack anyway to make triple damn sure I kill these buggers so I won't be sure which, if any of the prongs, was successful. Why write a review then? I think I have some helpful information.First, it says covers 200 to 400 square feet per canister. Plan on the 200 end of the scale. I didn't think I laid it down particularly heavy and I went through it pretty quick.I gave it only 3 stars not because of it's efficacy, which as I said I can't be sure of, but for two reasons: One - it is so fine, it gets everywhere. Even if you close off a room, the simple act of opening the door once and even a slight crack around the door will spread a fine powder, the smell, and presumably the poison, to the rest of the house (and yes I turned the AC off). Well that would be fine since you are trying to kill the buggers right? But it says all over the canister how poisonous it is, don't let it touch your skin, breath it in, get on your clothes, etc. It also says in the directions, "Do not apply this in a way that will contact humans or pets, either directly or through drift." And "Do not enter treated areas until dust has settled." And yet it says to, "shake powder" [onto rugs] and "brush...with broom to force powder deep into carpet." When I did this I was enveloped in a worrisome cloud of dust. I even bought a nice organic canister, well-sealed face respirator just for this task, and I could still smell and taste the stuff as I did it. I'm sure it was all over my skin, my eyes, my clothes, in my lungs and digestive tract... How are you supposed to follow the directions and yet not enter the area or have it contact you? Wear a spacesuit? If they are telling you all the scary stuff to just cover their hineys with the lawyers, that's a foul. If it really is so bad, then you can't possibly apply this stuff without major exposure, unless you have a spacesuit. I don't know what the answer is, except maybe Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth instead (that's my third prong).

It Is What It Is...
Just like all products with their fake promises that it does something it clearly doesn't, however it does take time and it all worked out in the end.My sister brought her dogs to the house unknowing they had fleas (yeah right, she had to have known, how do you not known that??) which in return spread to my dogs and before I knew it the whole house was infested. This is not something I ever wanted to go though so you can just imagine the conversation I had with her over this. I bought this product because it said "Kills Fleas and Ticks On Contact" well.. that it did NOT do. As a test, I caught some fleas and put them in a plastic bowl, sprinkled some powder in and closed the lid. It took about 3 days for the fleas to die, but then my housemate brought up the question of did the powder kill them or did they die to suffocation?Well who cares but either way it took about 2-3 months to finally rid the house and dogs of fleas. This was the only product I used on the carpets and furniture so I can't say it didn't work, just not as fast as I hoped it would. It literally killed me seeing my dogs digging and itching themselves to death and be bathed every single day and restricting them to certain areas of the house where fleas are less likely to thrive, but I'm happy they are finally gone.My sister and her little dogs are no longer allowed in my house.
