Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care with Chicken Wet Cat Food, Veterinary Diet, 5.5 oz. Cans, 24-Pack

My ER vet recommended this cat food for our cat, Speedwagon. He had a dangerous bladder infection and blockage twice. This helps our silky bellied, cuddle cat to, hopefully, be around a long time. He loves the taste of this food, maybe a little too much. He is always ready for more, the cubby guy. I like the wet food better as is also adds moisture into his diet, as it’s helpful to his urinary health. The cans are handy and easy to open. Each can is good for 1-2 meals. Our little guy likes it even straight from the fridge. The cans are stackable, which is helpful to economize cabinet space. The two 12 packs are very convenient. We have them on autoship for every 2 weeks. It is super convenient to have these shipped directly to my home, especially with how important having a steady supply of prescription food. I highly recommend. A+

This food is expensive, yes. But after last month's $3000 vet bill for my beloved pumpkin head orange kitty Cheddar Jack, the price is less painful. Most importantly it keeps him from having more crystals and blockages. He doesn't love the chunks but it's very soft so I put a spoonful of another kind of canned food in with a can of this, stir it vigorously with a fork until it's all pate, and then he chows down. He likes the taste, he's just always licked the sauce off things. The smell isn't bad and again, it's definitely worth the price for the preventative measures it provides. Be aware these are the LITTLE cans so you're not shocked when you get the box.

the food is great. its all my cat can eat and is supplemented with the Hills kibble urinary care food as well. My issue is the shipping! I have received 2 cases in the last couple months that have been dropped on their side and the cans look like this one. If they are open, i’m sending them back. Shipping company should respect the product more. its not cheap!!!

This food has been a game changer for my cat after a urinary blockage. After a scary and stressful experience, our vet recommended Hill’s Prescription Diet c/d Multicare, and I’m so grateful we followed that advice. Since starting this food, my cat has been doing incredibly well—no recurring urinary symptoms and clearly more comfortable. The tuna & vegetable stew has a great texture, and my cat eats it willingly, which was a big relief after treatment. Knowing it’s clinically tested to reduce urinary issues, helps dissolve struvite stones, and supports a healthy urine pH gives me real peace of mind. I also appreciate that it’s formulated for long-term feeding, so I feel confident continuing it daily. If your cat has experienced a urinary blockage or ongoing urinary problems, this food is absolutely worth it. My cat was put on a special diet that required him to eat Hills Prescription Diet C/D multicare. I chose the wet version of it because of various things that I had read. He definitely likes it. He has been on it for about 2 months now. He is not tired of it at all. He is on this food to help prevent and to dissolve crystals in his urine. As a new cat owner, I really knew nothing about this topic. I have been trying to educate myself ever since I learned about this. I think he also has cystitis too though, so sometimes it is difficult to tell what is making his urinating an issue. Sorry, not trying to get too off of the topic but just trying to explain his whole situation and how we got here. Now I can’t say if his crystals are dissolved but we will be getting an x-ray soon, to find out. I will come back on and comment about it here to help others know how well the food worked for that. I did want to let others know that the food is very much liked by him though, and I can also tell now ( by comparing the food to other wet food he had eaten before ), that this food looks, smells, and just seems more high quality. I guess that might sound kind of weird or possibly not make sense but, to me, it appears like a high quality food. I only wish it were a bit less expensive.

The only food and flavor that my finicky cat will eat. It does smell awful but she seems to love it so I guess that’s good enough for me! And no more stones!
